Mauro Aispuro Lmao bro my first deck when I was 6 lmao the box said 6+ so I played and my mom bought me QuickDraw dandy warrior. Cuz I saw a vid on this.
Lessons learned from goat format, Edison format, and hat format. Skillful and non otk oriented formats MUST include! 1. Decks should not recreate the exact same formula of duels every single game! So how a lot of decks just have the exact same turn one plays these days and have very similar turns ever turn while tutoring out the same cards over and over, NOT GOOD! 2. For a format to be “slow and skillful” is that sets are a must! Possibly the most amazing under used cornerstones of the game, any format that actively advocates setting monsters is inherently slower as it also naturally is the opposite of otks. 3. Book of moon should always be at three in a healthy format.
The reason Iron Chain Dragon used to see play in the deck (and at two copies) was because it was the only Level 6 Synchro Dragon you were able to summon with Debris Dragon + Ryko. Sadly Orient Dragon wasn't available at the time.
Awesome profile! Such nostagic cards, and as if it wasn't enough, all in high rarity, absolutely gorgeous! Drill Warrior still one of my favorites, I wish it was easier to bring him onto the field nowadays, as Level Eater and Dandylion are now banned.
Can honestly say this format was when I last genuinely loved Yu-Gi-Oh! I loved the amount of decks available to play and this one was so creative. Can anyone remember what the deck was called that just had like 20 Level 8 dragons in the main deck?
Sorry for multi posts, but this is related to one of your last statements about why he didn’t utilize better synchros over iron chain and stardust, is because he doesn’t have tuners outside of QuickDraw and debris. The restrictions on who they can tune for means that unless you brain control or side in the likes of plague spreader, beast of the pharaoh was relatively popular, deep sea diva I’m pretty sure was popular in absolute zero zombies, and a few other tuners, you didn’t summon those synchros.
You missed the idea of iron chain completely also. Debris plus ryko equals iron chain. Because of dragon type. It’s a great cards. Cheap and easy access. Hits the 2500 mark to run over blacknrose caius and jinzo. Ties with stardust. Everything about it. Drill warrior who is my second favorite card ever plus dandylion is absolute chaos once the cycle starts. I’m actually shocked in general that it still doesn’t see high levels of play considering that QuickDraw puts monsters in the hand right in the grave for you. Great profile but sadly so many non first Ed cards:(
I blanked out on needing the second iron chain for debris but I don’t feel it’s absolutely necessary unless it’s a super elongated game. Who cares about rarity/edition? Lmao. Besides I’m pretty sure it was only like a couple cards in the extra deck. Cards are cards.
twiz is it super needed? No. But you’re more likely to use two iron chains more so than any other synchro in the deck as ryko plus debris is most common play outside of QD plus dandy. Which is also why there are three stardust. One for each debris and one for starlight. Not to mention the avarice lets you reuse those debris so you always want the extra copies in the extra deck.
twiz ... with what tuners... you actually can’t go into anything besides synchron synchros and dragons. You want Gaia on the odd chance you hand dandy, a token, and brain control a plague spreader that shouldn’t be on the field or two rykos? If you’re lucky you can still have hamster but the chances are so slim or you can run two copies of each dragon to match your two copies of debris which will make it live with a very very high percentage chance.
Sad when you have it max and you don’t understand why he played most of his extra deck … ur saying “he should have played” … when he couldn’t make anything else lol
First off goyo was played but the deck can only summon dragons because of debris and can only summon the synchron synchro monsters as the only tuners is quick draw and debris what you smoking clossial fighter way to prove you know nothing abou the deck 😂
One of the coolest and most underrated retro Yugioh formats and an important part of Yugioh History. :) Smash that LIKE button please!
This deck is more expensive than my entire collection. Awesome deck profile twiz. I love seeing these retro decks.
But what is the point? What is the end game of spending all that money on bling cards?
Mauro Aispuro Lmao bro my first deck when I was 6 lmao the box said 6+ so I played and my mom bought me QuickDraw dandy warrior. Cuz I saw a vid on this.
My first ever meta deck! Nice to see you profile it

So much value and more now with Edison hype
Thaís channel teaches you about the Yu-Gi-Oh! retro decks lmao,i love it
I really loved playing Q n D back then.

But goyo was banned 😂 guy knows nothing he has all the cards and no information 😅
@@josepharmstrong6852 Goyo was actually limited but not banned, same for Brionac and Black Rose.
I’m so happy ur touching on all the cool meta decks from our past

This is 100% Max Rarity...twiz is the fucking goat bruh
3 Ultimate Stardust so beautiful
the reason iron chain was played because of debris dragon and it was the only real option besides gaia knight so it was infiniteley better
I’d definitely run one, I’d if I’d necessarily use 2 is all I’m saying.
@@twizYGO debris can only summon dragon synchros that's the reason
What sleeves are you using? Do you recommend them? Great video btw
I know this video is older but Goyo Guardian wasn’t limited at the time.
best deck best format
best
U should do a glad deck from like 2009-2010 that would be amazing :D
I’ve done plenty of those if you look on the channel.
I'd be super into an "Old School Sunday" thing, and since it's not exactly a common subject for yugitubers, I think it would be smart for your channel
I like what I see
Great deck profile

Dragon Rulers?
Quality Yo Nah, Rulers are level 7. It used Future Fusion and REDMD to summon like Dark Horus and stuff.
@@SeanM132 idk then, I didn't play competitive ygo back then so yeah
Disaster Dragons you mean?

I rather would have used a Gaia instead of the second Iron Chain to actually run over Caius when needed.
Why are you playing 4 milling cards if you only have 2 dandy’s and not many targets for dibril dragon ?
Would love the side deck he played the winner
When you understand that quickdraw is the secret orcust flavor everyone been missing..

That's the thing, I feel like you don't need it when there's three avarice, I'd rather just have more utility and options beyond that.

It’s no different than people using gyzarus for brain reborn plays vs gbs. Think of it that way.
What does erada mean
Pre-erada is before the card effect's got reworked by Konami to be more balanced.
Sad when you have it max and you don’t understand why he played most of his extra deck … ur saying “he should have played” … when he couldn’t make anything else lol
Know im a little late. But iron chain is to help ruin dark armed dragon decks or lightsworn to try to hit the spells
Sell me this deck
Well first

What a shit Deck, it sucks, it's unplayable!
You joking?
Where's Luigi?
