Oh, Julia is GREAT! She was one of my villagers and I loved her. I think you saw 5 villagers that I had at one time...Norma, Klaus, Julia, and Punchy (who is still on my island). I have to go back and find the 5th one, but I enjoyed everyone except for Klaus. ^_^; ...also, I have Lucky's card if you want to get him. I actually felt bad when you said you were in tears and even worse since I have his card, but didn't want him, but you really, really did. I haven't played in a while, but my cat/wolf island is full, except I want to get rid of Eugene...a koala that snuck onto my place. So, I can scan in Lucky, then get Chief (the character I actually want). When Lucky is in boxes, just come by and invite him to your island and he's all yours. ^_^

A few weeks ago on my old island before I started over I told my daughter that it would be really lucky if we found one of our favorite villagers . And we literally got Lucky I started over so I no longer have Lucky but the best part is that I have his amiibo .
I HATE the chicken villagers with all my heart. This chicken named Knox or something WAS HAUNTING ME! Everytime I would be around him or entered his house, this weird, creepy music would play. Sometimes when I would go into his house, it would cause so much lag. I hate chickens. Edit: I just remembered that he gave me a recipe for a coffin looking thing. He had them in his house too.
every nook miles island with normal trees (cedar or hardwood) has a wasp tree and an item tree. if you want to avoid wasp stings, shake trees with your net out, and press A the second your character's shocked animation ends. since they always turn on the direction of the wasps, and the nest always falls within a short distance of the tree, you'll always snag the stinging swarm before it has the chance to reach you! if you've already angered a swarm, your best chance is sprinting away while using the arrow buttons to swap through tools, since it's the fastest. your character will always turn to face south when equipping a new tool, so if you haven't reached your net, make sure you've got a good distance from the wasps before committing. once your net is the next tool up, run due north, get some distance, and swap. the wasps will come at you from the south, which your character will be facing due to the tool change, so the only variable you need to worry about is timing your swing. hope this helps!
In case you didn’t know, if you don’t bring your ladder with you on mystery island tours, you won’t get islands you have to climb up! Of course if you don’t mind then it’s no issue, but sometimes it’s easier to just bring a vaulting pole when villager hunting c:
New Horizons was my first Animal Crossing game. I got Boots and Flo as my villagers. I was thinking of making Boots move out because I really didn't like his style. Then he gave me medicine when I was stung and I decided to keep him around. Then Bangle moved in and I was ecstatic.
Kyle reminds me of Alex from Stardew Valley. A dudebro, but the wholesome kind that gets more likeable if you have patience. I know, because I have him. He replaced O'Hare as my smug which I am happy about because O'Hare is a demon of the swamp.
I find it very funny how you thought it was interesting that that monkey had yellow limbs because the reason they're yellow is because the monkey that that monkey is based off of washes their limbs with their urine
Before you chop a tree, pull out your net then shake the tree to see if a wasp nest is in it. If there is, immediately fast run to get some distance then turn around and use your net to catch the wasp once they are a bit close to you. My friend taught me that trick because I was just letting the wasps sting me lol
If you stand directly in front of a tree as you shake it with net in hand, your character will actually turn towards the wasps and you can catch them immediately without having to move, you don't have to run away ❤️
kabuki and lucky are connected in my mind, because on my wild world save file yeaaars ago, i had this like, crazy love triangle thing going on between me and those two??? me and kabuki were rivals for lucky's love..........
I was hunting for Ione but kept getting bad or basic villager. I didn't even find the villagers on the list I would take if I got desperate. Instead, the game kept on giving me fang, Freya, dobie and chief. The issue is that I love wolves so it hurt turning them down. I took Chief after only having 4 tickets left out of 41. I guess I'll ask for ione's card for Christmas. And I have Kyle, lucky and Shari on my island. I got those 2 from cards and the other I found on the island.
About sheri the monkey, her hands and feet are yellow because the monkey she’s based on irl use their pee to clean themselves so it turns their fur there yellow… it’s pee 😭
