Dear Dean! I just want to thank you for all you do! I enrolled with pass perfect through my employer for my licensing. I came across with your channel when I was working on the series 7 finals. I was scoring on upper 80s on pass perfect and I wanted to cross check myself by working different question sets other than pass perfect.I’m glad I found you! Your practice questions helped me to boost my confidence and learned stuffs I didn’t know from pass perfect. I just passed my 66 on my first try yesterday as I did for the SIE and the 7. It feels so good passing all of them on first try. Thank So Much and respect!🙏🏼
Kudos Investment Advisor Representative! Congrats on completing your test taking/registration hat trick! Always very gratifying when my channel contributes to test taking victories like yours.
Hey dean, on question #29. You answered D - none of the options are exempt and I believe the correct answer is C bc all of those are exempt with the 33’
Verbal errata. I explained it correctly but then chose the wrong one. Good catch. Check out the video description for my rationale. RTFA! I read D as all of the above instead what it actually read NONE OF THE ABOVE!
Think our existing practice test in the playlist are better but like to take advantage when I get permission from third parties to share or explicate their content.
This content has certainly helped me so far! I passed my SIE and 7 top off first try. I take my Series 66 in 2 days. Thank you for all your content and wonderful explanations of the material.
Got my sie, 7to, and 66 with Dean. Dean should start his own education company. I bought kaplan (firm provided), passperfect, and STC. Dean's lectures were better then all of them. Thanks so much!
These videos are very helpful, thank you Dean. However, I have to disagree with the answer in question 4. Convertible bonds would not be an example of a derivate security. Derivatives primarily derive their value from the underlying security, whereas convertible bonds are debt instruments so they primarily derive their value from market interest rates, creditworthiness of the issuer, supply and demand in the secondary market, etc. Though the performance of the underlying security (common stock) will indeed affect the bond's value, it is not the primary driver of it's performance. Let me know what you think, thanks!
@@Series7Guru I only bring this up because the training program that my broker dealer is using (Exam FX+ Training Consultants) has said that they are not derivative securities, whereas Mometrix has them as a derivative security. So I am given two different answers by the two test prep companies. Surely you can understand the rationale for the question in this case.
I seem to be stuck scoring a 70-71 on these practice test and my training consultants test. Do you think I should be concerned I am taking the test in just a couple of days.
How would you do it if you are given the the rate of return, years to goal, and goal but they ask what amount you would need to invest to get there? 8%, 18 years, and $50k end goal.

It is not a testable distinction and your test is challenging enough without providing your own wrong answer and rationale to practice questions.

@@DiamondHDB2 again it is not a testable distinction. I know more about the the test than either ExamFX or Mometrix.
What would it take for you release this the 20th instead of the 22nd? I take my re-take the 21st and would love to watch this before my test!
i will try to figure it out. Maybe

No. You will pick up points.

For question 6 @7:19, if the questions mentions semi means something works?
Yes

They won't. It will be recognition on input and output not doing the actual math.
@@Series7Guru thank you! I’m using Kaplan and one of the questions was set up like that.
