@@VNightmoon Probably more like ten thousand, knowing how husk one of alastor's less recent victims and as such isn't panicked anymore, meaning alastor will use him in recruiting more. We don't know how much respect Alastor actually has for our dear Husker, but if he's allowed to "go get a drink", then Al must have SOME level of respect for him.

Not to mention, it was _his_ choice to get on that ladder without checking how low it went... or how stable it was.
If Alastor's offering you a deal, then a fair amount of the blame is your own.
Technically he would remanifest after dying, it would hurt but he would survive. He is new in hell tho, probably he doesn't know yet.
Oh I like this. Alastor won from the minute he brought the pig guy to his radio tower. It was just a matter of making it the only option he had available.

Technically, by Hotel Hazbin’s lore. That Pig guy could just jump and even if he died, he would resurrect back in hell. As long as he wasn’t killed by angelic weapons, he will resurrect again and again.

I'm pretty sure Viv once said that when someone dies in hell their soul gets sucked into the land which is why the furniture has eyes, a good example of this would be some of the wall pieces in episode 8 of HH
@@FlorMenino It’s only when they got killed by angelic steel, but when they just die because of something else, then they will resurrect, but lose all their power and soul deals. Because of that Carmilla Carmine is selling weapons made of angelic steel.
The fact that it says on air during the deal could mean that he also airs his deals not just his kills like a real time drama show

I like how Alastor is taking advantage of pig man’s fear of “death” in order to seal the deal, even though we all know that falling from a considerable height won’t technically kill him (because it’s hell, and he’s already dead lol). 😊❤
He is a newbie, most likely he doesn't know that demons regenerate after suffering mortal wounds

I'm so impressed with this omg, your pig man really looks like he could be a random one off character for the show for a bit like this. I could see some kind of scene like this actually happening as Alastor tries to build back up his power after his absence, 7 years of exterminations probably killed off plenty of souls under his contract...
I named the pig guy "Fred". Did a character sheet for him and everything cause I like to play pretend like I'm a real animator

I think my favorite part of this is how Husk looks at 3:42. He's looking at the pigman with a pitying sadness because he knows how it feels being in that position. He was there once, after all. And Husk knows, Alastor won't let this man go without a deal, regardless of whether the pigman wants to or not.
I remember vivzie saying that season 2 will have a few focuses, one of which being the backstory of the main cast, so there is a *CHANCE* that smile like you mean it could become a canon song

The whole animatic is incredible, but something about Husk just casually sitting on top of the bookshelf after they first appear in the office is absolutely delightful

I love how Husk is just bored af the whole time. He's probably had to witness this one time too many.
Not like he can advise one way or the other. Life under Alastor's thumb is terrible... but if he hadn't agreed to Alastor's terms, it would be a _different_ kind of terrible.
Those are the kinds of customers Alastor offers deals to. It's up them which one seems more bearable.
Whenever I listened to this song I always assumed that he took the deal, this is actually much smarter, Alastor is pretty much a mob boss.

All thr little deatils, the consistency and movement and angles of the room *ooo!!* loved Husk's face as he was sitting back and seeing someone doomed to make a deal and be trapped as he is, the FIGHT!! Definitely something special to find, glad to save and share witb friends!

I love how he says we're both stuck in hell because although he is talking about how horrible and terrible everything is for the guy Alastor is in the same position as the pig, he is simply better at handling and hiding it then others, so everything he says to this pig he is also referencing about himself indirectly.

Same here. I've only disparate clips of the show, but aside from hearing Al and Husk's actual voices, that's all I need to picture this as an actual scene. Gotta love when fans can evoke that kind of thing in a newcomer.

This animatic and song got lots more attention for being on a list of fan made villain songs. The guy is Josh Scorcher. He used bits of the animatic when talking about the setup of the song and this thing is so well done! Bravo, man.

Fred looks great as a character, could see him in the actual show. Animatic was spot on.

This as amazing i’d love to see something similar to this in the actual show, seeing Alastor do his usual soul deals with the common sinners, his deal with Charlie is a special case and he’s in it for the long con but seeing how Alastor operates on the usual would be fun heck he might pull in a few sinners he’s got under contract to join the hotel to sabotage it when he finds out about redemption actually being possible

Daaaaamn, this is goooooood. Like, I could easily imagine this being a Disney-level musical sequence with nice, fluid full animation.

Okay, but I think my favorite moment is right at the beginning. The swirl shows the deal is going to be made, and Alastor *almost* tricked Fred into agreeing before Fred even knew a proper demon deal was on the table. Fred raises his hand like he’s going to take Alastor’s hand when he says “I…suppose?” but pulls it back on the second word. And for a single image, you can see Alastor’s cheer flicker. The mask doesn’t slip or anything, but you can see the glow on his face dim & his smile thins slightly.
It’s a tiny character detail I haven’t seen anyone else in the comments mention, but I really like it. Just this tiny flicker of irritation before the music kicks in and the energy jumps up. Like, sure, Alastor’s clearly enjoying his big musical number, but it’s also more work than he wanted/planned for this one minor deal.

I love how he openly says that his deals aren't what they seem, but at the end it shows your gonna have to take it anyways, or suffer bad consequences. UGHHH this is why Alastor is one of my fav characters, even if he's a serial killer-
In other words, he's always in control. He said it in the show (I forgot what episode) he says 'a smile is a valuabe tool...' and all that jazz and then says something along the lines of 'ensures your the one in control', quite literally shown here.

I love how seemingly cheerful the song is out of context, but when you actually listen to the lyrics, it’s eerie and perfectly captures Alastors persona when he’s putting on an act to seal a deal. Amazing animatic too, i love how gleeful he seems in most shots, making him seem intimidating, yet cheerful and vulnerable, but we know he isn’t.
Anyone else see the little hoofprint on his shoe when he lifts his foot to crush the can??

A wonderful animatic and a song!! There were well-placed shots here!! IT'S just WONDERFUL!!!!! It's even better than in the original, the authors pleaded that when Alastor began to sing in the original, he clicked his finger and here he hits the floor with a stick. And the end is just WOOOOOOOWWWW!!!!! Here's my 10/10 total
