Just got this monitor. It is my first OLED. Bro, it's a game changer. I have a loss for words sometimes lol. Worth the money. Ended up returning the alienware 32in oled version as I wasn't a fan of the curve, this one is perfect.
It's an expensive monitor but guys let's face it. It's all what you ever need, and a monitor is something that we keep at least for 5 years before upgrade. If this monitor survives 5 years from hardware prespective then it's a good long term value.

Less reflection during the day Colours and detail just jump out Refresh and pixel refresh are amazing Things I don’t like HDMI when using duel screens is not screen 1 on boot Takes a while to come back on from standby Light on the back and on the stand are pointless Updating firmware a bit clunky User interface ui feels outdated

Hdmi2.1 has the bandwidth to actually run it. Best money I’ve spent in the pc world in 20 years, I look at all other screens as junk now
Thinking about buying one but i don't even play less demanding games to really get 480hz. The Alienware Oled 4k 240hz Oled is the perfect balance for my 4080 super.
I'm keen to see the comparison video between this and the PG32UCDM. I am planning on buying the PG32UCDM as soon as it is available in the UK, but would be good to see a comparison before I hit the trigger.
I have the LG woled 32” and the pg32UCDM side by side right now. HDR is a lot better in the LG for some reason, but HDR lg vs SDR UCDM, UCDM wins. I play both, blinds up and blinds down, UCDM picture quality is still superior. It’s semi glossy I think cuz I get no horrible reflections. The only reason I want the LG is the speakers which the UCDP does not have. So I’m guessing UCDM vs UCDP, there’s no comparing. UCDM all the way. I also have a 14900k and a 4090 though. So I don’t need the 1080 mode, and on a 32 inch, it’s kind of horrible picture quality unless you are really far from it. And the 27 inch mode is horrible. The UCDM comes with 4k 27inch which is absolutely stunning to look at and the LG only supports it at 1080p and I’m guessing the UCDP might be the same
My UCDP model arrived and I have been using it for 4 days already. I was wasting all the potential of my rig playing COD until 4 days ago (i913900k, ROG Strix 4090, GSkill Trident Z5 6800J 2x48GB XMP). This monitor is amazing; COD (configured with DLAA) is another experience now. Never understood the subject matter about real black background and glossy vs matte until now. I assume it is a matter of personal preference, but this UCDP model was the right choice. Cheers.
I went with the UCDM, but I play 4:3 stretched for competitive gaming. I tried seeing what 1080p looked like because I only have a 1080ti still so I can do a max of 4k 120hz or 1080p 240hz. I don't think I'd ever run the monitor in 1080p for the extra 240hz. Doesn't look as good IMO but to each their own.
People say QD OLED is better but it has a purple tint and the blacks are lifted and it gives EDGE LILT vibes = bloomin tho its fully not blooming the effects are still there.

This one is priced the same as the Gigabayte AORUS FO32U2 Pro 32 just about the same specs but you get the 2.1 DP and it being QD OLED. I love the way the Asus one looks like but I went with the Gigabyte to future proof
I got the new MSI 32 inch 4k 240hz QD Oled for single player campaign story games & I got the 27 inch 1440p 360hz QD Oled version for Online competitive shooter games & man I literally cried from how overly amazing these monitors are.. They pair great with my 4080 Super but I can't wait until the 5090 come out because I will be getting that on day 1 release.. I can't believe we came this far in gaming 😎

So frustrating that manufacturers are not making high performance gaming monitors like this in smaller form factors between 20" and 24" for easier portability. I will even buy one that is less than 20" in size.

@@Obet-uz5kw Well for me i like brighter displays, the feature where you could go from 4k 240hz to 1080p 480hz with the press of a button is insane 2 monitors in one and it works for me to play overwatch and other esports titles which is awesome the matte coating is just perfect enough for it to deflect lights in a bright room which personally i like to play with the lights on and open curtains sometimes because if not i tend to get sleepy in a dark room lol but plus i hate the magenta finish QD OLEDS get when light reflects on it which the WOLED doesn't have that issue because its better for those situations. But here's the thing if you want more vibrant saturated colors get the QD if you want nice color accurate natural colors get the WOLED its based on preference.

I have the lg variant of this which I feel is a better fit for me. ASUS lock you out of changing colour temperature when your in HDR mode. If you like a warm look then this will be fine. You want the ability to change it to your preference don’t buy this go for the lg. I also prefer the lg looks. Less gamery
I have the UDCM and bought the UDCP and returned it in 30 minutes. The colors not as good and the matte screen makes it worst. I ended up getting 2 of the UDCM and that is END GAME
Just bought this, honestly... the brightness is not great, at all!! Dont get me wrong it looks good in game, but it is not bright. It also goes to 120 hrz everytime i turn my computer on and i have to turn the monitor off and back on for it to go back to 240 hrz, amongst some other small issues. Over all, it is a nice monitor, but its not worth the price.

Don't be sad bud, I am still using C1 lol. Tbh these monitors next to the TVs look bit dimmer... Hence wise I decided not to replace my C1 but instead invest into a fast 360hz 1440p OLED as my secondary display
480hz, 4K. Good luck getting 480 FPS on anything that isn't a 15 year old game. OLed is however incredibly nice. My dream setup would be an ultrawide, oled, 2K, 144hz screen
you crank up the hz in order to maximize the frame output of your hardware. All I know is that my hardware won't have any display bottlenecks when I get the PG27AQDP in 480hz with a 4080 16gb.

1080p with 480hz. That's fortnite, but tbh I'm playing fortnite on 32 inch monitor and it's a bit much. I literally can't see the edges of the screen in my direct vision because of how big it is and the size of my desk.
I'm glad it exists else more kids that play that game would be playing the games I like, it serves its purpose, its a good middle ground between minecraft/roblox->fortnite->the games 16+ play.
I was going to buy this monitor but I already have a 170hz 32 inch monitor that I play fortnite with, and fortnite is fast paced and is not as well served with such a huge monitor.

Most people would benefit from 240. After playing with 144, I immediately overclocked my monitor to 170hz.
