I guess all these people in the media talking about women choosing to work during pregnancy are talking about actresses, because actresses do sort of "hide" when they are pregnant and make the weight gain seem like it's abnormal and feel ashamed to come out in public. She was the first "actress" to come out and continued to work throughout her pregnancy and didn't shy away from showing her baby bump and was not ashamed of the weight gain. As long as women who are not celebrities are concerned we cannot talk about them in the same breath as these stars because their lives are not relatable and their struggles are much more than the stars and sitting at home during pregnancy or after is not a "choice" they can make for most people.

Exactly! I drove myself to get my delivery done. I realised it's time, water didn't break but I knew it was time, hubby was not home. I drove myself and thank God I did because it was time!
I guess all these people in the media talking about women choosing to work during pregnancy are talking about actresses, because actresses do sort of "hide" when they are pregnant and make the weight gain seem like it's abnormal and feel ashamed to come out in public. She was the first "actress" to come out and continued to work throughout her pregnancy and didn't shy away from showing her baby bump and was not ashamed of the weight gain. As long as women who are not celebrities are concerned we cannot talk about them in the same breath as these stars because their lives are not relatable and their struggles are much more than the stars and sitting at home during pregnancy or after is not a "choice" they can make for most people.
