The feeling you feel inside when you hear this song is almost unexplainable! It's like a sadness and a happiness at the same time!!! JuneRoc NYC Lower East Side 4Ever!!! 80's an 90's 4Ever!!! Freestyle 4Ever!!! Judy Torres 4Ever!!!
Can't believe that after all these years this song still gives me goosebumps after all these years no love loss!! Love you Judy Torres always and forever ❤️
I was just a teenage boy ,who imediately fell in love with the song and the artist the very first time I heard it,and till today is still my favorite freestyle song
You can't lose with freestyle...Shit touches your soul. Makes you feel alive inside even if you have been broken. If i had a woman like Judy i'd be good forever. Sing it!!! Come into my arms baby...This love for you is real!!! Hell yeah...LOVE IT!!!
I used to listen to her and the others when I was 14-16...thought I knew what love and heartbreak was....I remember how I felt listening to this...unfortunately, life has shown me that I had no idea what heartbreak was back then.... :'(
Oh snap! For the life of me I could never find this verison! My mother used to blast this on 89.1 and then got the tape! I used to be in the back seat of the 1989 Mitsubishi Precis jamming. Damn, memories. I feel old as hell. Even though I was young in the late '80s n early '90s it still had better music than nowadays' BS. Thanks, Visualito!
Dancin to the wee hours at clubs and house parties, or cruzin whittier bl to hollywood in the back of mini trucks bumpin this stuff! im glad i still have my mini truck. i still bump these jamz in my other cars with my family!! lets bring it back. these days were the best!!
+Eric D No, it was HOT 103 in 1987, then in 1989 when HOT 103 switched it to HOT 97, you got Country 97 at first & then it was Country 103.5, honestly. Even I met Judy Torres in person, she believes me what I said because she knew that she went to Roseland back in 1990 when HOT 97 came out, they promoted the event at Roseland when Cynthia headline & Judy with her two backup dancers performing live. Didn't mean to bust your chops, but the radio station really changed in the 80's.
Actually, HOT 103 debuted in 1986 & HOT 97 was being switched in 1988 because of a listener response Eric D. When Broadway Bille was on the radio station, Freddy Colone, Paco, everyone was there from the freestyle era wanna pump things up a notch. The same year that Judy Torres & Trilogy were both on the same record label named Jackie Jack & Judy Torres was young back then. Way before she was being signed to Profile Records & Marshall Jones was on the same record label along with other artists such as Derek B., RUN DMC, Special Ed, N2DEEP, but freestyle music & radio stations like HOT 103.5 was a lift-off to freestyle music so check out on RUclips & type out "HOT 103 FM 1987 air check in" & you find out for yourself.
I played the primary Lead Synth to this song on the Korg M1 on my middle school graduation, JHS 126 in Greenpoint, Brooklyn! Yes! June of 1988! This song played all over! Thanks to Mickey Garcia, Elvin Molina and Dr. edit (Tony Garcia), Judy Torres gained recognition! And she was just a teenager!
From my younger days livin' in the bronx freelance Dj'n freestyle was always the way to go.Cleaning my home jammin' to freestyle right now and guess what it's 2020 ❤
I was born 94 so i didnt live through the peak of freestyle music but i was lucky that my dad had a huge collection of these records and wow i love this music so much to this day, gives me nostalgia of the 80s and i wasnt even born, if that makes sense lol.
@@13MAM13 I agree if they had at least half of the support the blacks got in general as artist they would've been in better situations they are now, even tho they are doing great on their own but as you said help wouldn't have hurt them, not trying to compare a Rican to a black as the blacks are the kings in singing and many other things but back then in the 80s you had blacks in the Rican clubs trying to be Rican and whites like me hello trying to be Rican and you couldn't tell as many Ricans are white and some are JLO dark so you could tell but at the same time you couldnt so its saying you had all the ethnicities in the Rican clubs or music sponsored by Ricans and the entire world loved the music passionately and I confirm that till this day, as 6 months ago I was in the Philippines and they were rocking Puerto Rican freestyle music and were like do you like this music and I was like hell yea and I asked them how long did you guys liked this music and some older guy was like since the early 80s and he had a Roseland Club tattoo and I was like my brotha what!!! I already said too much and I have so much to tell but the Ricans need a comeback as they are so talented, another thing they are with the blacks the creator of "Breakdancing" and that alone tells you how creative these people are without money so imagine them with money what!!! Till this day I live in a Puerto Rican neighborhood in Jersey and love it as I was married to a black girl but cheated on her and it didn't last but I tell ya these people are proud and stick together and treat their visitors so generously and loving, unless you know a Puerto Rican you can't even imagine how proud and giving they are and the haters of them will change their minds I guarantee you... But not all of us are perfect and name me one country that is. Again sorry for the long bla bla bla but I'm a realist and those days were theirs.
I could swear I heard this song somewhere between 1975-1977 on the radio for weeks in San Jose, CA. But that would make her 7-9 yrs old , so someone was singing hit freestyle in the mid 70s (maybe with a sound similar to Judy Torres). - the traditional ABBA era.
This goes out to a girl back in kindergarten circa 1990 named Dominque Nunez. Where did you go? You were the first love of my life. I miss you girl!!! BABY REGRESA A MI!!! TE EXTRANO!!!
this song has been engrained in my pysche since 1987..i dont own the vinyl..regardless..its in my soul.if your ever stopped at a red light and hear someone cranking out this jam..that'll be me
The feeling you feel inside when you hear this song is almost unexplainable! It's like a sadness and a happiness at the same time!!!

I've had the pleasure of seeing her perform so many times, and then I got to meet her in person. Such a humble sweetheart!
I used to listen to her and the others when I was 14-16...thought I knew what love and heartbreak was....I remember how I felt listening to this...unfortunately, life has shown me that I had no idea what heartbreak was back then.... :'(

Seems like this music only hit ten or so markets, from the comments I see. This was big in the San Francisco area too.
This freestyle single was being played on HOT 103 FM back in 1987 & Judy Torres was hot back then & still hot right now!
Rein Negroni it was hot 97.1 in 1987 103.5 was in 1990s

Ricans ruled back then, love their music.
Yes they did. And without the big marketing support other artists got.
