Best way to play at fast speed is to slowly increase the speed for you to adapt I play at 5.0 at first but about 1 or 2 weeks later I increased it to 8.5 Goal is to reach 11.0

Saphyyra the speed in which you play doesn't change the speed in which you tap though. Someone playing on 1.0 will be tapping as fast as someone playing on 11. It only changes how fast the notes come at you.

Blueberry Delight if you're failing on normal, how about trying to increase your speed? Might be that you can't process when you're supposed to tap because of how slow the notes come, thus you're either way too slow or too fast. Back when I was playing on 5.0 that was exactly the reason I kept failing, and increasing my speed did wonders.

Mr Bushido just increase the speed in increments or steps. from 9, take it to 9.3 or 9.5. start with beatmaps that you remember very well. for most players it's generally the 25 difficulty songs. once you are able to do them, move onto the harder songs, upto 27. make sure you are able to fc or reach close to fc on every incremented step. that's about all i can tell i guess :) i started on 8.5. now i play on 10.7. thumb player. 11 is doable upto 26 difficulty, but ofcourse i still fail to clear songs like louder on that. at some point it's possible :) keep increasing it.

I think you're slightly confused. The JP and EN servers exist on entirely different apps. If you want to play on the JP server, you have to download the JP app and you won't be able to bring your EN account over to it.

Don’t worry if you can’t fc this. My best record is 9 misses, and I only play with 9.5 speed. You are already considered very good in my opinion. Go and feel great about it.
I play on a phone and with my thumbs and I have just recently started to try 11 speed on songs and so far I can clear basically any easy song on 11 speed pretty easily and I have only cleared 2 songs set on normal with 11 speed, going from easy to normal with 11 speed is a big jump and I think it would take me weeks to beat an 11 speed hard(tho I’ve had the game for less than a week so it probably won’t take me weeks if), but hm, I wonder if playing on a tablet and with pointer fingers would make it a lot easier or not on 11 speed
