Back to the beginning. Anna Nicole Smith may be gone, but she is survived by Larry Birkhead and their daughter, Dannielynn. The father-daughter team recently returned to the Bahamas, where Danielynn was born, and they celebrated the late star’s 50th birthday. The duo honored her legacy and invited Us Weekly to walk down memory lane with them.

I completely agree!!! If Dani goes off the rails at any point, it sure won't have anything to do with Larry, he is so ON IT to keep her safe and to have a well rounded life!! She seems so sweet. One thing Anna got right was choosing Larry Birkhead as the father. He is great.
Nope she didnt get that right. She got knocked up. Amd intentionally set out to block larry from this kids life. Best thing that ever happened to that kid is the day her momma died. Sad to say... But this kid would have had a totally diferent life with her pill popper mother and wpuld have ended up like her mom and brother.

A great dad never puts down the mother of his child. He honors her memory and he loves his daughter so much. I am so happy for them. I pray she will do well as an adult and decides not to model and stay away from Hollywood.

Exactly! Not to be rude or anything, but how fame affected Anna Nicole should be used as a warning of what does, and sadly still does, happen to people who do drugs, and alcohol! I just hope and pray that he'll keep being a great dad, and keep her away from those pitfalls her mother fell into!
Larry, is an absolute jewel of a Father. He speaks well of Anna, he has provided his Daughter with a strong moral upbringing and he has raised a lovely young lady.
If, Anna had been raised with this type of foundation in her life, she probably wouldn't have lived most of her adult life as an addict.
Yes, me too! Really hope she stays away from the entertainment business, modelling and films - because she is such a vulnerable kid - with such a history.....and people will exploit her - her dad is such a sensitive guy! Credit to him for doing all these good things and for protecting his daughter!

Super Dupers Delight I never saw it or him that way. He obviously cared deeply for Anna, but got caught up in the negative aspects of her tragic life. Everything ended up the way it was supposed to and we should respect that.

I managed to email Larry when he first claimed to be Dannielynn’s father and not a lot of people believed him. *I* did and told him so; he responded with a “thank you”. I am so happy that Anna and Larry’s daughter has had a good, stable life. No offense to Anna Nicole, but I don’t think that she would have been able to give Dannielynn the necessary stability that a child needs in order to grow up strong and to be able to resist the temptations of Hellyweird.
Well if she was alive she would have given her a lot that he can’t. He is filling her head with stuff at 12 that you would tell a 5 year old. He’s over babying her too much. I feel horrible about her son Daniel's death- as well as Anna's death. Larry seems to have his head on straight. I don't think he'a any more protective of Dannielynn than any other father. If she didn’t die her daughter would have been on TV with her with all kinds of issues. Her life was already a circus when she was a baby living with her mom and the men her mom was with.

He could have easily allowed Anna's boyfriend Daniel Stern to raise that little girl as his own and stepped back, but seeing that Dannielyn was young enough not to remember the custody/establishment of paternity battle, she grew up to become a happy, well-adjusted young lady thanks to Larry.
