    for the people complaining abt this. the capital one building was severely damaged from hurricane laura which was a cat 5 and was un savable just because it looks like broken windows on the outside does not mean the inside is in pristine condition. from what i heard it was going to cost way too much to repair it. it had to come down or it would have collapsed later on

    Just like this building was demolished via a controlled demolition and fell directly into its footprint, so did the Twin Towers. Just like you can see the plumes of smoke and debris shooting out of the sides of the building on certain floors as the structure is collapsing, the same thing can be seen on videos showing when the Twin Towers collapsed. This was done because just crashing planes into the buildings alone was not going to bring the buildings down. So, explosive charges were specifically placed on load-bearing columns and steel beams all throughout the buildings, including and especially in the basements, in order to bring the entire structure down. There's plenty of evidence to prove all of the above to be true beyond any reasonable doubt. All you have to do is research it.
    This is not to say radical Islamic terrorists didn't high-jack planes and crash them into the towers murdering thousands of innocent people. They did, but it wasn't the whole truth. It was all meant to be a setup at the public's expense. The terrorists were just convenient pawns in a massive conspiracy that was highly coordinated, organized, and funded by the highest levels of government and the private sector.
    The United States government and its allies had been desperately wanting to have a reason to invade Iraq. Why? It's oil. What comes with having control over a ton of oil? Money and power. Believe it or not, there are always a lot of very powerful and very wealthy people and companies that become even more powerful and more wealthy as the direct result of the United States going to war with another country. It's always going to be very profitable. Going to war with Iraq was no exception.
    So, with that objective in mind, the powers that be had to devise a scenario that would cause the overwhelming majority of the American public to become so overwhelmed with emotions like sadness and rage that there would be no question that they would support invading Iraq. Then, the light bulb moment occurred. Have radical Islamic terrorists high-jack planes and crash them into buildings causing enough destruction and killing enough people that it would create the most amount of chaos and panic imaginable, and as the result, would manipulate the public to support going to war.
    In other words, after billions of dollars in destruction and 2,997 lives were murdered, the American people were not only brainwashed and manipulated to go to war, but it was all done under false pretenses. We were all lied to just so that some very wealthy and powerful people and companies could become more wealthy and more powerful. It doesn't get any simpler than that. It's one of the biggest lies and cover-ups in world history.
    If you're not willing or not able to wrap your brain around what the wealthy and powerful are more than willing and able to do in order to get exactly what they want, then please read the following. NYC real estate developer Larry Silverstein was the owner of the Twin Towers at the time of 9/11. He acquired them in July 2001. He made a $3.22 billion bid to lease-purchase the World Trade Center from the Port Authority. The lease agreement gave Silverstein, as leaseholder, the right and the obligation to rebuild the structures if they were destroyed. Also in 2001, he conveniently took out a terrorist attack insurance policy on the property. The amount of coverage Silverstein received from the insurance companies to rebuild World Trade Center buildings 1, 2, 4 and 5 was $4.55 billion. So, he made a profit of $1.33 billion.
    Try wrapping your brain around that.

    • @GizzyDillespee
      @GizzyDillespee Месяц назад

      They didn't take the oil, though, so that doesn't seem to be the reason for Iraq. The actual reasons were given in either Foreign Affairs or Foreign Relations journal (I forget which one... maybe some in each?) in the late 1990s, in articles written by the people who became part of the neocon administration after the following election.
      They stated that they wanted an opportunity to test new doctrines including privatizing many tasks that had belonged to the military previously. Logistics, hospitality, construction and so on. Bids for the jobs were public, but only one company was prepared to offer those services. They were privatizing, and profiting from, military support tasks in an overseas theater.
      They also wanted to introduce the doctrine of preemptive strike. It's all written in those journals, years before the events. I found the journals, at the time, in a university library. If you know the names of the people in the W administration, and the top general during the war, and others associated with them, then you'll know which authors to look up. Late 1990s. You can go to the university library and ask to see them - you don't need to be a student there. When reading, keep in mind that this was before the neocons were elected, and years before the events happened. The organizations that published them are called "think tanks".
      I know the popular meme is that they wanted the oil, but in hindsight, they didn't run the campaign as if that was a primary strategic goal, and they didn't take the oil, AFAIK. If they did, I'd be glad to know about it - which companies got the contracts after the fires were put out, and how they were connected to administration members.

Do they make sure that people who are near know they need a respirator and eye and ear protection? And, probably, a hard hat?
