We Westerners have an entitled mentality. Allhumdulillah i made hijrah to Turkiye 10 years back. Allhumdulillah it is such a niyamah to be in the lands of adthan.
I was living in KSA for a year and brought my family. Not having an Iqama especially for the kids can be an issue. I was waiting for my son to get his Iqama but prior to that, he was sick. I took him to a hospital to get checked out and they refused to see him because he didn’t have an Iqama. I don’t know if that’s for all hospitals but just want people to be aware that there is that risk.
That’s not true, In Saudi Arabia government hospitals provide emergency medical care to everyone, regardless of residency status, Private hospitals, however, may require residency documents or payment before treatment, especially for non-emergency cases.
Brother what is your proof for this because I have used both private and gov hospitals in KSA and have needed Insurance or had to pay cash on the spot.
What if after moving to Saudi or UAE one is stripped of their home country’s citizenship? Can you still stay there? Where do you go when your iqama expires?
