My knowledge about music or instruments are Zero but I still subscribed because you try to explain everything with so much enthusiasm, thank you
Your cover of „Una Mattina“ is my favorite cover of it
Best explanation l have ever heard for ambient thanks a lot
I really appreciate these step by step videos.
I live these videos where you break out the details for us!!!
Thank you so much Antoine for being you and for all you do and share with everyone! 💫🕊🎛🎚🎸
I usually used synths to create wall of sound, now I have to test your way, I prefer less synth and more guitar!
I’ll play my “Vortex” flanger through the “Nightsky” without the delay, yet hahaha Let’s see what kind of insanity arises. Gracias por el video. Abrazo grande de Ciudad de México!!
NICE UPLOAD.COULD YOU MAKE A TUTORIAL ABOUT SOME AMBIENT WITH DISTORTED GUITAR?🤘🏻🤘🏻
Adding the 5th to the shimmer was sounding like born slippy
man, I love stuff like this. Nicely explained, Antoine. I really love Chase Bliss Habit for adding delayed pitch shifting effects, similar to this in some ways
Dude I have the MERIS Mercury X..I have everything in it that you said plus tons more..Wall of sound is available within a few tweaks😁
Yeah you can also Programm a delay octave with an extra envelope which follows your playing - it's really a bigsky timeline and lvx in one pedal.
@@sese6344 Thanks for giving me an Idea for my next experiment!!.Well it's a reverb with delay options also,so more like a Mix between the Strymon Mx and LVX..
It's astounding what it can do.. which I've only still scratched the surface since launch ..🤘
GOAT 💪👍
For someone just entering the world of ambient guitar, your videos are gold! Thank you
Side question: is it possible at all to come anywhere slightly close to this sound with only a Hall of Fame 1 (shimmerless) & a RE20 space echo?
Sadly, I don't think you could get anywhere close. I don't think the Hall of Fame can go 100% wet (unless you go in the toneprint editor?), and it's really the added regenerative octaves of the shimmer that give you this huge sound. It doesn't give you long enough decays either. You would need a reverb with more capabilities for big soundscapes like this!
Brilliant, as a newbie to this, what order would you suggest for the pedals please? Or is this important?
(First) Modulation > Delay > Reverb (last)
I sold my TimeLine, Ice mode is the only thing I miss!
Fantastic board man
