How did Max gain time powers? Answer: my point in this view is, Max had time travel powers in Seattle. She didn't know that she had time travel powers. Max only experiences the side effects of it (like unconscious, nose bleeding) and most of the time she was in the hospital in Seattle. So she never developed friendships and connections in Seattle. Not only does this make sense, because now it's logical that Max did not reply to Chloe. Chloe was depressed so telling Chloe about this would make Chloe feel hopeless. So Max chose to feel pain by herself and not share her worries. But then ,how did Max gain her time travel powers? The answer is, Daniel (Life is strange 2) found puerto lobos, reunited with his family and Sean. He developed his powers, apparantly they were not telekenises powers but time travel powers. One day Daniel was in Seattle and thought in his head: "I found my family, new friends, I can live now. So I ll give my time travel powers to a girl. I mean girls are smart and are mature faster than me. He must have thought that he would find the right girl with a spiderman mentality about responsibility'. After some time Daniel encountered Max in the supermarket naturally he heard Max's soft s,weet voice and was convinced. Max should have my powers and so it shall be. Some time later Max was thinking, when Max discovered she could rewind time "with great power comes 0% responsibility"
It's called "Supernatural", no scientific explanation, maybe god gave it to her or nature simply made her like that, but no clear answer that's why is just called "Supernatural" things that cannot be explained
