Yes it was. I was sitting in the West stands and the fog was so thick I couldn't see the upper deck on the East. If you look at the close-up of Gary sitting down after the return, you can see the haze in the background. FYI: Tech wore those jerseys in Birmingham for a win over Michigan State in the All-American Bowl. The jerseys were retired after that game.
