I’m confused about the “bass” it looks like the “neck” isn’t fixed to the “body”. How can you get consistent notes that are the correct pitch? It looks like he’s “playing” it as if he is manipulating the pitch.. but I don’t really see how that could be a melodic instrument.
I don't think they really care about having a perfect pitch... There is a shitload of false notes in tvis song, but no one cares, they are having fun, we are having fun, we don't need more
I'll get to grips one day that as a brit im most likely never going to get to see these guys and many other bands live.... but until then imma keep hoping

I like this song and I like this band, but this recording was terrible. They were nervous there and whoever set up the mic levels should be shot., she needed two mic one for the brass and one (pointing at 90 degrees) for vocals. The video they did for this song was brilliant.
