I am a huge fan. My family and I have been looking into ebike conversions and you all have a real winner. We hope to get our bikes equipped with your product soon. You'll are awesome. Thank you
can you dial the cyc x1 to 1500watts i wanted the stealth but figured I'd just get the stronger model and dial things down for the motor but also chain, cassette & drive train wear love the video 🤘
Patiently waiting for a video showing the noise this motor makes. It is supposed to be improved, but I can't find a video of what it sounds like now anywhere. The noise of the previous generation was the only thing holding me back from buying it.
Is there a maximum size chainring that can be fitted with this and likewise with the new Stealth? Obviously, there might be chainstay clearance issues depending on the frame.
Hi Anthony, the X1 Pro can fit at the largest a 48T chainring & the X1 Stealth can fit a 46T chainring. Unfortunately, we do not have these sizes available but you can swap the inner chainring with any standard 104 bcd chainring (steel recommended).
Looks like the new CYC Photon may be a better option for a speed pedelec commuter type conversion? Can still be pedalling under power at higher speeds with a 50T chainring option. Is there any reason why a standard (rather than compact) 52T or 53T big ring couldn’t be fitted?
@@anthonyward5329 The sprockets are not BCD standard on the photon check ruclips.net/video/ULq7VbJE68A/видео.html With this shape, I doubt we can ever find an adapter to used BCD chainrings unfortunately...

Hi, this new Gen dont have specs for battery on site, i have the specs for the BAC855 Controller but i want to make a pack 72v 30ah for the new Gen3 can you guys give me some notes?
You can find the controller specs here: www.cycmotor.com/next-generation-electronics If you still need something, just send us a message either on email or social media. We generally reply within 24 hours.
Thinking about upgrading from 750W Bafang BBS2. I know this is super powerful which I want. But I would also like a motor that I can breeze around at very slow speeds too. Like 8-14 mph. Do you feel that the motor checks both boxes in that regard? Or is it just for racing around fast?
@@Rickydbaby I received my kit in February. My original order was in Sept 2022, with the 3rd party vendor was for the gen 2 kit, but the gen 3 kit was announced shortly after, so I worked with the vendor to modify the order to ship the gen 3 kit instead, so it became a pre-order. Coincidentally, yesterday I had some time to start the install on my bike, so far it's been a breeze. Need to clean up the wiring, mount the battery, fine tune the settings, and figure out how to extend the speed sensor, the wire is way too short for my bike.
@@Rickydbaby Yeah, I mean it was a pre-order at the time, so the wait is going to be longer. I imagine if ordered now/recently, it should have shorter lead times, but only CYC knows. I could have stayed with the gen 2 kit, but I like to have the "latest and greatest", haha ;)
Hi Eli, we have dealers in the US that you can contact to ship from their facilities but if you purchase from our website, at the moment, we will ship from Hong Kong. www.cycmotor.com/dealers
I tried this motor for a month. I preferred the bbshd with bac 855. Much better. And if anything breaks I won’t have to wait weeks for CYC to send out a replacement part. Stress free riding considering all the failures I heard about on the facebook groups

Agreed! We'll upload some more content soon.

I like the new flat battery mounting position. It looks a little less big from the side angle. Just more slick.

I'm thinking you should include a reinforcement plate to add on the frame with the kit. 👍😁
2:00 the manual says for 73mm bb to put both the 7mm and 3mm spacer on the non drive side. Why are you doing it differently ?
I'd love to install one. If I could get one to ship!
I’d love to know how much noise it creates.
Noise comparison coming soon
