Yeah that makes no sense because some songs literally require female ensemble such as Candy Store with the female ensemble being on the backing track singing the repetitive upbeats to the song, Never Shut Up Again where the female ensemble literally dance with Heather Duke, Beautiful in general, Seventeen Reprise where the female ensemble sings the “let us be seventeen-“ part, plus Meant To Be Yours and how the females sing the soprano parts alongside JD and also I Say No in general. I know I’ve said a lot but I don’t see how they would’ve done this without female ensemble lmaoo. Like even here where they more so “nah” Seventeen Reprise it sounds weird because the male ensemble sing the backing vocals part where they say “we can be beautiful-“ instead of the seventeen or whatever and they’re louder lmaoo.
