Maria Fadiman, Ph.D., is an ethnobotanist who studies the relationship between plants and people, focusing on conservation and sustainability. Maria serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Geosciences and is also a National Geographic Emerging Explorer, whose studies take her all over the world.
