I hope streamers realize that there are MUCH nicer "clone your voice" TTS systems out there. The one Filian is using is clearly only trained on like a handful of audio clips cause it sounds too American and doesn't nail the pitch and energy of her voice.
To make a "good enough that it will fool people who don't know the streamer personally" still requires more than an hour of good audio, which means the streamer needs a Shure SM7B or similar in a quiet room to actually do the recordings. TTS's derived from stream audio tend to be too processed due to compression and audio limiters, which results in monotone voices lacking the energy of the original voice. So if streamers are worried that people will "steal their voice", worry not, as there isn't a single convincing voice out there that wasn't cherry-picked and massaged to sound "good."
That said, streamers are fooling themselves if they think Chat won't abuse it. Babysit the TTS that uses your voice, cause people are going to put words in your mouth that you don't want to hear.
Bro this shit went on for an hour of just chat trolling Filian before the challenge even started! Even when filian raised the price…chat never let off!

The more clips I see of vtubers, the more I can conclude that vtubers require two major traits: being a bottom, and M. They may top each other from time to time, but I did not see a single interaction where a streamer was top and S in regard to chat. I would be more than happy to be proven wrong.
