It’s really nice to hear Brother Gabriel’s voice on this platform. I met him at one African Church when I visited Washington, DC back in the late 1980s. I haven’t been to DC since then. Bros. Gabriel is a pure, down to the earth, great man. I’ll love to meet him again when next I visit the Washington DC metropolitan. I’d missed his laughter. I met Brother Nat also. He was also introduced to me as a member of Dele Ojo group. Kudos to Agbaletu for a well done job.
Good program bringing back the good old days, we are bad with documentations and archives, so a 78 years old man may remember everything vividly again. Of Jimmy Carter may be present, he was the Governor of Georgia in 1972 while Richard Nixon was the president. Kudos again.
Wow! Wow!! Wow!!! Thank you for this great program. This is very interesting. What a wonderful program indeed. I miss my loving dad so so much. My late Dad was a very loyal, loving, generous, accommodating and friendly man with integrity. He was indeed a great Gem and he will surely be missed, but my daddy’s legacy lives on forever. It’s so good to hear daddy Gabriel’s voice! Agba a di ale sir🙏 I am so proud to be late Emperor, evangelist Dele-Ojo’s last daughter. *EVERGREEN FOREVER*
Please Agbaletu we need to listen your best album you said that have been kept since 80s . We want it on the Utube . Well done my brother. Michael Falola Akewi London
Very enlightening and informative interview. Late Evangelist Dele Ojo was indeed one of the greatest and innovative musicians. I think his music was a crossover between highlife and juju music. Also I believe that I K Dairo went on playing tour of UK before Dele Ojo, so also was Ayinde Bakare. KSA had introduced accompany guitars long before Festac 77. Dele Akande and Sharafa Bello played tenor and base guitars respectively in KSA's Sunny Tide in 1970 before Bob Aladeniyi played in KSA's Asiko laiye/Sheindemi in 1971.
I really enjoy your program for its accurate historical content. However I would like to say Jimmy Carter wasn't president of USA until 1976. Richard Nixon was reelected President in 1972 so Dele Ojo could not have played for Jimmy Carter that year as president. Please correct the minor error.
Nice to see and hear Brother Gabriel Osanyingbemi.
This papa has retentive memory.
This man has good memory. May God bless him.
What a great memory from pa Gabriel osanyigbemi❤❤❤❤❤....
Thanks for this beautiful presentation. Dele Ojo was a contemporary of I.K.Dairo. May their souls rest in peace. The two of them are great composers.

It was Bob Ohiri who first played tenor guitar for KSA and it was Bob Aladeniyi who brought Ohiri to KSA band
Richard Nixon was the American President sacked in 1974. Dr. Jide AYENI, Festac Town, Lagos State, Nigeria.
And the one you mentioned here....Mo duro ti Jesu...and Darling yeye
Dele Ojo was an innovative guy...and do listen to his boys.
Daddy Nat Ajibare is my cousin and still kicking. It might worth for Dele to also interview him too.
