I built some of that bridge and skinny you rode at 4:58. It’s awesome to see a first timer’s perspective of the trails where I learned to ride! You did a few lines I’ve yet to try yet
As a film maker, I’m going out on a limb here. This channel is leaps and bounds above any other mtb channel in terms of story telling and editing. Alex, you deserve everything you’ve gotten. Cheers brah🫡
Man you thank us for watching but thank you for sharing your adventures. I'm limited to how much I can ride at the moment and after watching your videos I feel the mental freedom that I get when I go for an adventure ride. So thank you for what you do.
Your enthusiasm is contagious! I now want to stop working and ride every second the sun is up, haha! Keep up the great videos to keep us distracted from this crazy world!
What a trip down memory lane-thank you for bringing this back to me. I took a BC trip with my homies back in 2018, and we hit most of these Squamish trails. In all honesty you guys rode amazingly well where we balked on a lot of the most sketchy stuff. Two things in your video had me smiling extra huge. First, your enthusiasm was so infectious-had me wanting to book a flight with my bike tomorrow! Second, your filming today was next level. On and off the bike, you captured the essence of this playground so well. I don’t even know how you got that follow sequence of Rex-it was so smooooth! Finally, mad props for your commitment and skill this week. I think you’re ready to ride with Remy!
I live in Squamish and it was cool seeing an outsider perspective of trails I probably take for granted. Especially when you said how lucky people are that live here... I had to take a pause as it really did remind me of how lucky I am to live here. Solid day and effort put in too by the way. Some of those slab lines are legit when you're perched on the top of them looking down!
If anyone “poo poo’s” the laps you guys did…they can pound salt! I ride this stuff on the daily, and if you are not accustomed to the terrain, it’s super intimidating. I have toured friends (really solid riders) around those trials, and there have been lots of close call, crashes, and walkers. Well done, let me know do you want to explore a little more off the beaten path, there’s some beauty trails out there. Most people would have been satiated after Gouranga, I like that you guys took one more short lap to Dirks. That’s a solid day.
Totally agree. Doing it on the regular is one thing when it is your backyard (like when I do these trails tomorrow). Doing it first time on things like Bearly Adequate is awesome. Well done
It was so fun watching you all ride the Squamish paradise we live every day and the stoke you portrayed is infectious. I will never take for granted riding these❤️. We are indeed lucky to live here.
Watching this after going to my local trail and discovering new paths and features is awesome. I am 36 now and wont be doing any crazy jumps so its great to see you riding and also knowing your limits but focusing on fun!
alex, this has been my favorite trip/series you've done since redemption 17. Trails and environment are just amazing. and the storytelling is so much fun. getting stoked!
I just got back from a Whistler trip and while we were up there we rode Alice Lake and Diamond Head. Everyone in our group left the trip talking about how good Squamish was. It was unbelieveable. Half Nelson was seriously the best flow trail I've ever ridden. Personally I'm a tech guy so the Alice Lake trails were more fun to me, but I'm pretty sure the next trip we plan up there we might just spend a week in Squamish and only a couple days in Whistler.
Glad you enjoyed my home. 15yrs living in Whistler and then now 2 years in squamish. I ride Alice lake any chance I get including this evening. Glad you got to enjoy a bunch of my favourites
Always great watching you ride! The fun that you have and the realness that you let come out while you ride makes watching every video you have worthwhile. It truly shows how much you love this sport! Keep the videos coming brother and we will keep watching!
These types of trails are like the pinnacle of mtb trails IMO. Such a cool combo of features linked together with tech, flow, and jumps (and gorgeous scenery). You really need to be well-rounded rider to nail these lines. It's a dreamy place to ride for sure
Well I only got through half your video...I got too excited about riding and packed up the truck and went riding in Whistler and Squamish. Seeing someone so excited about the trails when I live so close seemed criminal to not get out there. Your enthusiasm is catching.
shout to the person in the group riding GG Rip. Sampler should do a bike check of the people he is riding with. Or is he scared of his sponsor (I joke)
One thing is for sure: your mojo is back! Long time without watching you enjoying so much the trails! (Hard not enjoy such a sicks trails indeed!) super cool video buddie!
Cool to see you hit Gouranga so much stoke in these recent vids. meanwhile Mike Kazimer and Wade Simmons be like "if I saw another clip of someone bumbling down Gouranga "😄
We used to have really cool trails like this that were created by some random bike dudes in my area when I was young. They were not public, they were hidden down off the side of the bridge. You could drive past them and never know they were there because of the tree coverage. I tried one of the trails once when I was like 10 or so... I still remember catching air on a jump I didn't realize would be so big. Exhilarating, but terrifying. I'm two minutes into this video, and like - Welp. I was right, this is not the sport for me. 10-year-old me was right. XD Beautiful scenery though!
So first of all who crashed today? 😂 literally everyone raised their hand. 😂 You guys earned some crazy Kool points, Great video Man! You are inspiring 👍
Maybe your end goal is to buy one of those houses as you exit that way your just right there to ride ALL THE TIME🤣 Great video! Awesome riding to all the riders
I couldn't go at Squamish but ride so many bike park. (Whistler, Big White, SilverStar, SunPeaks, Revelstoke) I was wondering, which Brakes are you using? Code Stealth Silver?
Is there any way we can get the gpx track of this ride? Heading there next month and would be good to ride the must hits! It would be cool to get the other groups loop for the easier loop as well!
hey just wondering if you still do the mtb videos with voice over, to be honest i love those videos and understand that they take much more time to produce but i would really love to see one now an again
I might sound stupid but what is that kind of squeaky noise while he is on the brakes like I know it’s brakes but why is it like kind of whooshing it’s it like warped pads or rotors
The dedication when you pulled off that feature and then immediately wanted to hit it again. That's the real mountain biking spirit, bro!
I built some of that bridge and skinny you rode at 4:58. It’s awesome to see a first timer’s perspective of the trails where I learned to ride! You did a few lines I’ve yet to try yet
THANK YOU!!! 🙌

Killed it! Those slabs are scary.
Those trails are a dream and I actually love the advertisement format. Keeps us watching the video, and not too long.
I see why the Squamish trails are world renowned. Wow. Amazing stuff.
Your enthusiasm is infectious. Thanks.

Wow thank you for all the kind words my man! That follow shot I was on foot with the camera in my hand following him!! Turned out so fun

Yooooo now THAT is saying something!! So stoked you are enjoying it. I already can't wait to do it all again next year 🤘

Lots of great tech over on Diamond Head too, Robert... Angry M, Somewhere Over There, Cakewalk, 19th Hole. Also, Pemby is a gold mine for steep tech!
Love the feature at 19:20, sick as hell!

Like your videos because you’re so stoked and it keeps up the positive energy. That place is so rad!
Wow! Great video.! I love how you pre-ride, re-ride, then free-ride,great job guys
These types of trails are like the pinnacle of mtb trails IMO. Such a cool combo of features linked together with tech, flow, and jumps (and gorgeous scenery). You really need to be well-rounded rider to nail these lines. It's a dreamy place to ride for sure
Thanks, amazing riding from you guys ! Nice to see theres other lines than Remy's ! I'd probably end up walking but this looks so nice !
Well I only got through half your video...I got too excited about riding and packed up the truck and went riding in Whistler and Squamish. Seeing someone so excited about the trails when I live so close seemed criminal to not get out there. Your enthusiasm is catching.
You’re energy is unmatched! Love watching the videos man. Keep it up
Dude, no one should be poo pooing you. You rode all that sooooo sweet 🤘
Man, those trails look great! Thanks for sharing your experience with us. Looking forward to more!
Great video man. Love the energy! I live in North Van and still feel this way about the trails every time I go out.
Love the way you are doing the LMNT sponsor shout outs. Makes it feel less intrusive.
shout to the person in the group riding GG Rip. Sampler should do a bike check of the people he is riding with. Or is he scared of his sponsor (I joke)
Brave stuff Alex! And you DID GREAT! Congrats on a spectacular ride! TY!
Love it dude!!! Stoke begets Stoke!!!! Watching you get stoked and the trails your riding get me stoked!!!! keep it up
Dude, you're shredding some of the most iconic trails and features in the world. Amazing!
One day, maybe!
It’s exciting to watch you ride some of my favorite trials for the first time dude! Rad video!
That mainline on the whale tail is the spot I had to jump ship and my bike slid down the feature. You made it look smooth.
thanks for the reminder of how cool it is here! this is why we choose to live here.
One thing is for sure: your mojo is back! Long time without watching you enjoying so much the trails! (Hard not enjoy such a sicks trails indeed!) super cool video buddie!
Very much appreciate this dude!!
amazing video and trails bro. Enjoyed it!
That was NEXT LEVEL stuff Alex. Thanks for another great video bro!
Dream come true and I'm so glad we get to come along with you!
Just did a lot of these trails today! Amazing footage, and crazy riding!
Another rad video! Bucket list ride spot for me for sure!
Cool to see you hit Gouranga so much stoke in these recent vids. meanwhile Mike Kazimer and Wade Simmons be like "if I saw another clip of someone bumbling down Gouranga "😄
lololol don't send them this vid!
Yep agreed you are riding so well. I also feel lucky I lived there for 3 years near the turn of the century.
Your videos pump me up to ride. I’ve been to Whistler bike park once and now I have to go back to ride Squamish!!
Such a fun video...amazing trails. Mother Nature knows how to make some good stuff out there...
Alice Lakes is like nothing else I've ever ridden. Lots of it terrifies me with my meager skills, but the stuff I do ride is always a good time.
Livin every mountain bikers dream right now Alex!
Don't I know it!
Hello! About to get out on a ride...right after I watch this.
What an amazing place! Also shout out to whoever is on the we are one.
Love your vids man, part of the reason I got into riding!
Looks freaking sick. Have such a mental block on rock rolls
Unreal trails. Good work Alex
Have fun to all that can go on the trip. Out of my price and skill range lol

Heck ya!. There ya go boys!!!
That was me at 20:19. Been watching you for years and didn't recognize you!
So glad you're ok. Your wife is a boss. What a battle buddy.
Yeah
So first of all who crashed today? 😂 literally everyone raised their hand. 😂 You guys earned some crazy Kool points, Great video Man!
You are inspiring 👍
Living and riding BC requires brake pad changes weekly😂😂
And rear tire every 2 weeks! Lol
I absolutely put on brand new brake pads for this trip... and changed them at the end lol
Dude, you're crushing it...
Maybe your end goal is to buy one of those houses as you exit that way your just right there to ride ALL THE TIME🤣 Great video! Awesome riding to all the riders
I looked them up and not a single one under a million 😢
@@The_Sampler not even close, but reach out if you want one closer to $1.3. Don’t forget, that’s Canadian, so it’s really under $1M!👍
squamish is the best place I’ve ever ridden.
The Gouranga rock slide was actually in a Squamish Enduro race a few years ago.
Oh i saw that carnage
Those trails might be above my skill level but man did they look fun and challenging.
Please ask seth to bring back cooking with seth
Great video, what camera are you using these days?
What guide company did you use for this trip. Planning first trip to Whistler and would love to use the same company.
Thanks,
At the top of my bucket list for place to ride. Prob only second on the entire list only to helliskiing
I couldn't go at Squamish but ride so many bike park. (Whistler, Big White, SilverStar, SunPeaks, Revelstoke) I was wondering, which Brakes are you using? Code Stealth Silver?

Amazing trail
Damn, this rocks!
Good video. Too much fun
As usual another epic video. Stay safe ole son.
What camera are you using
Don't forget to buy the hot sauce at the bike shop in town
For anyone interested in joining the 2025 trip, there are only 3 spots left!
31:01 You’re welcome.
hey just wondering if you still do the mtb videos with voice over, to be honest i love those videos and understand that they take much more time to produce but i would really love to see one now an again
Did you catch the 1,000 jump video!?! It's one of the higher production ones and came out recently
the rollers are not the problem, it's these shitty run outs right after the roller that give me nightmares
Same for me !! 😂
haha yes I agree. The hard ones are absolutely the ones with the terrible run outs
Scary stuff
you played in Remi's backyard man :)
I might sound stupid but what is that kind of squeaky noise while he is on the brakes like I know it’s brakes but why is it like kind of whooshing it’s it like warped pads or rotors
It looked tiny till you stood on it holy cow
Remy is NOT from this planet🤪.. thanks again for another eye opening video😎👍🏼☀️🌴 Orlando, Fl
yea it was wild to see the features he's been riding out there. Absolute next level
Thats whats up
Dream trip.
So happy to see the stoke you have!
What rocky mountain is he riding?
Austin is on the Slayer
You've got a nice enough beard doggy you don't have to dye it
Lol I would never dye my hair. Kinda stoked to finally be seeing some whites of wisdom
Sooooo, you hated it?
