I’ve been a fan of these videos since they first started! They’ve all been very enjoyable and entertaining. Ken how did you get to your current position at the museum? I’d love to hear that story, maybe get inspired by it too.
I'm kicking myself for not realizing I was just a block away from the museum when I visited Duluth last fall, looks like I'll need to make a summer trip to come see some cool trains and take a dip in the lake!
so glad that a video will be made on 1109, can't wait to learn how the head end power system works. Definitely understand waiting till the weather is better lol we just got done with an inch thick ice storm here in Pa
This guy should contact Ray Gionet at the new Schreiber railroad museum In Schreiber Ontario. Just a little further up the northshore. I have his contact information if there is interest.
I have to chuckle when you say Hamilton Ontario is "up" from Duluth. Take a look at a map and you'll see it's much further south than you are. Also, it's curious CP would have china named after Jasper, which is a CN town. Perhaps Banff would be a more appropriate name. BTW, I'm a former CN Telecommunications employee and frequently rode CN trains, both passenger and freight.
Do you still operate any steam locomotives? My daughter and I would love to ride one of the excursion trains with steam power! Make several trips to the museum and train rides each year, can't wait for summer!
Hey LSRM, I've got a question for you. I've noticed in your guidebook you list C&NW car 6700 as part of your collection, but have never seen it the times Ive been there. Whats the status of that car?
I’m kind of surprised that they don’t have the merci train boxcar Apparently it’s at a military museum, I would have expected it to be at the railroad museum though
Kathy and I had fun riding in your “foreign” baggage car last summer. Hope we can visit Duluth again soon!
Thanks for visiting and riding the safari

Brilliant video my friend like and Greetings from Argentina 🤩👌
Fantastic, thanks for your excellent videos, I look forward to visiting your museum when conditions permit :)
Love the videos. Living almost next door to the Illinois railway museum I'm gonna have to make your museum as must stop on a future trip.
Another excellent video
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for tuning in.
Hey LSRM & NS Scenic Railroad can you do a video on steam locomotive whistles?

Good content but please invest in a higher resolution camera and a gimbal.

Yes we do! Not scheduled yet this year, but hopefully later in summer or fall. Its just coming off a few years of not operating.

That is correct. It has been away for a few years in storage at a private facility. Someday it will be back.
