Respect for the beauty of diversity is what the many peoples of our world believe in, but when hatred and fear of “others” is taught at an early age that peaceful and loving concept is blinded. It starts with each of us examining our own hearts and sharing the kindness within , not only with our own friends and family, but with all those we encounter each day. Thank you , Rabbi, for your very poignant words this morning.
good morning Rabbi Simon Jacobsen your voice is the very 1st voice of my day, I'm glad you post early. Your words are thought-provoking which gets me up and going. Thank you happy Tuesday. 🤗🏁.
I am so grateful for your messages Rabbi Jacobson. Each one is a blessing and always gives encouragement and food for thought. Thank you. May you be blessed as you bless others.
I was all ready to complain that world leaders don't seem to understand the situation in Israel, but your message of envisioning "harmony with diversity" and praying for that, is so much a better way of looking at things that I have nothing to say. Except that I will try to picture harmony when I get upset by the news.

Thank you very much for this talk. I have often listened to your broadcasts, but this one was especially beautiful. I sent a link to a friend I call my spiritual sister.
I live in the US. Id like to see where this diversity can be at harmony. The problem in gaza was started by hamad. I support the right of isreal to defend itself whole heartedly
Dear Rabbi, can you tell me why people hate Jews so much in your opinion? I live in Austria and been even to a Chabad school here but when you ask people why they hate Jews, most of them don’t even know and use words they heard from others, like, the jews are the chosen ones, or they have money. So have the Jews bring it about themselves in a way? 🤔 In school they told us Jews are 120% and goim just 100% so this „arrogance“ created that hatred over decades. What do you think?

It's obvious from your various comments your ' issue ' is supporting terrorism. It truly is wondrous how the trolls on the Iranian / Hamas side speak like the snake that talked with Eve .
If Isreal is a Nation, then all the people in Isreal is in that Nation of Isreal and afford the same amenities to all. The people who now call themselves jews were not always in Isreal. You took over the nation and treat the natives as second class citizen. I wish the leader of Isreal would treat all people the same.

Dear Rabbi Simon Jacobson. You should not fear the most pious of the muslim. The Holy Quran 24:22 is perfectly clear. It doesn' t matter how many the IDF kills, not even the children. All they shall forgive. Even genocide. Ask the french about Sheikh Ahmadou Bamba. Prophet Muhammad, blessings be upon him. Bismillah!
A famous Rabbi once said "turn the other cheek". If Israel did not retaliate but honored and celebrated there loved ones lives that were taken what do you think the result would be? If they gave up there military entirely what do you think would happen?. Would you be concerned that there would be no state of Israel? I know i loose this physical body. Is it a lack of faith in Great Sprint that makes one a physical warrior and a a lower dimensional being? A Spiritual Warrior seeks truth and love and dose not seek to act as his oppressor. Then the oppressor is revealed to those in truth as the "state" of Israel is being revealed to the world now. He who tries to keep his life will loose it. Harmony will come when forgiveness arrives. It takes a True Spiritual Warrior to lay down the cowardice of self preservation. One must also leave doctrine behind to be with the One.
@CaneGlue If you ignore “Canaanites,” and the history; then yes,…? But since we’re willing to ignore the history you seem so eager to have us understand, here’s some more to ignore (w/ just a cursory search): *The Paleolithic Period (Old Stone Age) in Palestine was first fully examined by the British archaeologist Dorothy Garrod in her excavations of caves on the slopes of Mount Carmel in 1929-34. The finds showed that at that stage Palestine was culturally linked with Europe, and human remains were recovered showing that the inhabitants were of the same group as the Neanderthal inhabitants of Europe. The Mesolithic Period (Middle Stone Age) is best represented by a culture called Natufian, known from excavations at ʿAin Mallāha and Jericho. The Natufians lived in caves, as did their Paleolithic predecessors, but there is a possibility that they were experimenting in agriculture, for the importance to them of the collection of grain is shown by the artistic care that they lavished on the carving of the hafts of their sickles and in the provision of utensils for grinding. During the subsequent Neolithic Period (New Stone Age) humans gradually undertook the domestication of animals, the cultivation of crops, the production of pottery, and the building of towns (e.g., Jericho by 7000 BCE). -Britannica.com This is the land the Jews traditionally moved into; from Moses’ slaves (doesn’t the bible even say there were people there first that the Jews had to “exterminate”?; history repeating itself, indeed) and/or Abraham. What’s more plausible is that this is what the Jews evolved from, which would mean they’re at least second. So no, your point doesn’t stand; time to sit this point down. May you come to be disabused of all evil ☮& ❤
United Nation (UN) was created on 24 October 1945, WW2 ended on September 2, 1945. Maybe you meant to say that some nations united agaisn't jews. Also, lets not forget that a of nations also came to help jews paying the price with their blood. That being said, always interesting to listen to you.

You're free to study and read - it's available everywhere! Also, the nationalist themes are very well articulated in the rest of the prophetic books in Tanakh. Todah rabah Rabbi.
Appreciate your insight, blessings to you.
I was all ready to complain that world leaders don't seem to understand the situation in Israel, but your message of envisioning "harmony with diversity" and praying for that, is so much a better way of looking at things that I have nothing to say. Concept of God in Hinduism:
In The Light Of Hindu Scriptures....
Hinduism is commonly perceived as a polytheistic religion.
Indeed, most Hindus would attest to this, by professing belief in multiple Gods. While some Hindus believe in the existence of three gods, some believe in thousands of gods, and some others in thirty three crore i.e. 330 million Gods.
However, learned Hindus, who are well versed in their scriptures, insist that a Hindu should believe in and worship only one God.
We can gain a better understanding of the concept of God in Hinduism by analysing Hindu scriptures.
#UPANISHADS:
The Upanishads are considered sacred scriptures by the Hindus.
The following verses from the Upanishads refer to the Concept of God:
"Ekam evadvitiyam"
"He is One only without a second."
[Chandogya Upanishad 6:2:1]1
"Na casya kascij janita na cadhipah."
"Of Him there are neither parents nor lord."
[Svetasvatara Upanishad 6:9]2
"Na tasya pratima asti"
"There is no likeness of Him."
[Svetasvatara Upanishad 4:19]3
The following verses from the Upanishad allude to the inability of man to imagine God in a particular form:
"Na samdrse tisthati rupam asya, na caksusa pasyati kas canainam."
"His form is not to be seen; no one sees Him with the eye."

"He is bodyless and pure."
[Yajurveda 40:8]6

Sambhuti means created things, for example table, chair, idol, etc.
The Yajurveda contains the following prayer:

And Also Qur'an Says:
God does not become a human being:
God does not take human form:
Some may argue that God does not become a human being but only takes a human form. If God only takes a human form but does not become a human being, He should not possess any human qualities.
We know that all the ‘God-men’, have human qualities and failings. They have all the human needs such as the need to eat, sleep, etc.
The worship of God in human form is therefore a logical fallacy and should be abhorred in all its forms and manifestations.
That is the reason why the Qur’an speaks against all forms of anthropomorphism.

Excuse me: Can you define what is a Jew? Do you believe a Zionist is a Jew?
@@yabitsA Jew is a person whom mother is also Jewish. “Zionists” are Jews. People don’t seem to get it

"Na casya kascij janita na cadhipah."
"Of Him there are neither parents nor lord."
[Svetasvatara Upanishad 6:9]2
"Na tasya pratima asti"
"There is no likeness of Him."

The following verses from the Upanishad allude to the inability of man to imagine God in a particular form:
"Na samdrse tisthati rupam asya, na caksusa pasyati kas canainam."

-Britannica.com
This is the land the Jews traditionally moved into; from Moses’ slaves (doesn’t the bible even say there were people there first that the Jews had to “exterminate”?; history repeating itself, indeed) and/or Abraham.
