I wonder if Superhuman spotten you'd never actually used their software before you recorded this video (obvious from 6:50+). A little disappointed to see you selling out.
Is 1 month free trial still available?
Would be good to clarify your financial relationship with the software. Did you start to use it and THEN get sponsorship? How long have you been using it. What do they do with your e-mail data. Are your e-mails sitting on their server? Are your e-mails going into their learning models? I would want a piece of the softward silod in my space and not sending my data to someone else's servers for them to use how they choose.

ive been following his channel for over a year, not sure why he didnt make this point but tiago has been using superhuman for years, i have been using it for months, expensive as shit but worth every penny

We essentially allow people to virtually self host any open source software in a few clicks and if it’s corporate software they need to list on our store. This enable end users to have complete control over their data.
We ourselves are decentralised and open source.

I hadn’t realised PARA’s becoming a book, makes complete sense. Second Brain has changed my approach to consumption and life in general. Looking forward to the follow up.

Yikes. At $30/mo - $300/yr, it's a great app but the pricepoint is steep.

It's literally just Chat-GPT with pre-built prompts. What a joke!
It's quite clear Tiago doesn't use it either and is just shilling for money. The menu options that surprised him at 6:50+ are a massive giveaway.
$300 is a ridiculous subscription price.......
I use Superhuman and didn't know about the email chain summary feature. That is game changing. I was just today requesting a coworker to summarize the key points in a long chain because I couldn't distill what I needed to take action on.
Just caught this AI episode on the channel. Brilliant as usual, Tiago! By the way, an episode on FilterBounce would be fantastic next. I have been so impressed with their email verification capabilities. Stopped wasting leads after switching, the accuracy is damn amazing. Plus, their API is super easy to integrate for form verifications.
Sometimes the biggest barrier to leveraging new and/or better technology is investing the time and energy it takes to get comfortable with it. Instant gratification bites.

I loooove this!!!! Tbh I'm genuinely stuck right now between the Johnny Decimal system and PARA and I need a little nudge. AI in Notion is cool (not perfect) and quiet useful! I hope we won't have to pay extra to keep our price with AI built in
2:57 Hmmm archiving is not equivalent to deleting an email. It's just getting it out of your inbox, but it can resurface if a recipient replies to your reply. That's important.

Tiago, have you done any optimization for PARA inside of Superhuman?
I think this is great for a company that has resources that allow them to pay for this but for individuals, it is price prohibitive, unfortunately.

Actioning emails oldest to newest? I always start from the newest as there maybe email chains and I want to see the latest in a chain so I can review just the once.
Master class on using AI
When you archive the email you responded to - how do you remember to follow back to close the loop / remember that someone owes you a response?
Superhuman has the option to set a reminder. Very useful.
How convenient that the first email in the demo is about a talk you are going to give. ha HA 😅😅

This video really turned me off the dude. It's quite obvious he's never even touched the software before he recorded this video. I do like his other stuff, there's some decent enough ideas, but I'm concerned about this new direction...

A great first step. I hope „superhuman“ can blitzscale their business to be taken over by Microsoft or Apple. Some features could be helpful. However, at work - where the mails happen, we will never get beyond IT or the DPO. Afraid in the long run I guess the big ones will catch up and bring the same features.
At least Apple will tell you they are not taking your emails and making the all knowing Borg with it.
