this is quickly becoming my favorite car review channel. Having 2 people that clearly have good chemistry going back and forth on the topics makes it much better. I really like how polarizing some of your opinions are but you guys keep it lite.

Thank you for being the first automotive journalist to understand Mercedes ESP, Jakub! As someone who has mastered using this system to simultaneously drive safely and recklessly, it frustrates me that most auto journalists don't take the time to learn how wonderful it can be. I love knowing there's a strong correction coming if I really screw up but also being able to manipulate the accelerator to slide when I want to slide. Once you understand how to use this system and know that it will catch you if you really screw up, it becomes an incredibly fun driving experience because you feel invincible. My BMW M3 did not have as intrusive a system and consequently, I was not sure it would ever catch me in a really bad situation and was hesitant to push things too far without being in a controlled environment. Everyone should take some time to learn how to properly use Mercedes ESP and enjoy those power slides that come with it!
It's nice to have an aid to save you but it's good to be able to do everything with all the systems off. I think I can manipulate the system because I'm confident in my abilities with it all turned off. Even though you can't turn it off fully on Mercedes lol. Other cars you can

Only coupe SUV what I like is Audi Q8 and it's because it look more like Audi fastback style cars but just bigger version. Otherwise I think the same. Huge cars that doesn't have rear passenger headroom and lot less cargo capacity than wagons. Doesn't make any sense.
The fact that it's still 4 drs and being called a coupe is appalling.

You guys are always reviewing my most favorite vehicles, looking forward to the next. I had a blast driving this model, like everytime I get in it, it makes me want to drive aggressively because it handles so good and the throttle response just puts a smile on my face. This and the new G wagon are my only fave Mercedes SUVs, the best. I'm also not a fan of SUV coupes, really don't understand their purpose and looks very weird. Thanks for the review.
Love this car so much. Perfect sized sporty SUV with a great sounding V8. So much more fun than any of the boring sounding 6 cylinder competitors.

I've driven this and its power. Sounds mean it's like a jet on wheels. I love the paddle shifts and the brakes are wicked they pull you up hard the handling is amazing. 10/10 for me
How was the fuel ⛽ consumption on onna these? Do u remember? I'm worried the tank is not being enough. More visits to the pumps.

5 years later how was the car? Looking to pick up a 2020 GLC63s coupe but now I’m leaning more towards the full size suv
@eitantv6072 Hey! Had to flush the center differential for a shudder and a ignition coil for misfire... Normal maintenance stuff, did it myself. There are no other issues.

Great review! I purchased the AMG GLC43 as the 63 wasn't out at the time and due to budget constraints. I also test drove the Macan S, Audi SQ5 and the X3 M40i and although they are all great cars the violence and sound of the AMG sold it. I also thought the interior was the best looking but that's subjective. The Macan was the worst value and the SQ5 was the worst performer but best tech. The X3 was the closest matched and was a great performer with better tech but at the end of the day the AMG sound and performance won me over. I'm with Jacuk in that the tech doesn't really matter as long as the drive is awesome. Tech will become stale in a few months even but the drive is what keeps you coming back to the car every time.

My neighbor just got an AMG GLC63S coupe. I don't like the coupe body style, but besides that this is an absolute beast. The exhaust just throws rice krispies everywhere

By far my favorite vehicle from the past 5 years.
5:15 you say classic AMG growl. But I hope that you don't forget about the real AMG growl from the 6.2 liter V8's.
AMG makes the only turbo V8's that sound proper. They get full credit for that. Yes N/A AMG is legendary

Badass SUV. The proportions are perfect. The only deal breaker is the old floating screen in the interior. Should have had the MBUX infotainment

I've seen this up close at the dealership and when I went in the next day to seriously make an offer it was sold.
It looks so aggressive in person. We all know that the 63S AMG's will sound great but I wasn't aware that you can get them a little side ways.
The 63S also looks way better than the 43 that the dealership wanted me to get.
Yes that infotainment center and the interior needs the up fresh just like the C 63S got for 2019.
We have a large Supercar culture here and many owners are buying up this model, the Macan T and even the new X3 40i. The Stelvio Quadrifoglio is not selling well here in Vancouver.
