Right! Such a cool design! I remember first watching the episode when I was about ten and having my mind blown that there existed something bigger (as described at the time) than T. rex and the design really made it believable
For anyone wondering why the Dino Crisis 2 Giga was so massive, it's because it's a mutant. the Wiki said that when the Giga made its home at the Silo, it was exposed to alot of radiation that made it bigger and stronger over time. basically, a mini Godzilla. But it remains my favorite out of all the Gigas, mainly because of how powerful it was, and how it scared the shit outta me the first time. T-Rex was bad enough, but a gigantic beast that ragdolls it? yeah, that was something for me when I first played that game.
For anyone wondering, no Giganotosaurus was not the largest theropod in either mass or length. Tyrannosaurus was larger in terms of mass, and Spinosaurus was larger in terms of length. That being said, just because it wasn't as large as either of these other theropods does not make it any less interesting. Giganotosaurus was still one of the largest and magnificent predators to ever walk the earth, and was a truly fascinating creature. It's kind of a shame that to most people, all giganotosaurus is known for is being "that one theropod larger then t-rex" when it was cool in its own right.
I keep looking at the absolutely gorgeous design of the Giga in JWE and wondering... Why did they decided to scrap that and make a green I-Rex for Dominion instead? (Tho no offense if you like its design in Dominion, it's just my opinion)
The JWE one also looks pretty good. Yes it has its arms pronated, plus they are too small and it has the spikes on its back, but the skull is pretty much on point. I also really like the coloration of the base skin. It has display colors while not overexaggurating with saturation *cough *cough dinosaur island T.Rex. It looks vibrant enough to be a real creature while staying grounded enough to function as comouflage.
I had never heard of the Giganotosaurus till I saw that Walking with Dinosaurs special with Nigel Marvin where he went to Prehistoric South America to look at the Giant Dinosaurs that lived there 90 Million Years Ago and when I first saw that thing needless to say I was shocked that South America had Predatory Dinosaurs bigger than T-Rex.
Walking with dinosaurs and chased by dinosaurs with Nigel marven is the best series ever . Nigel has met real dinosaurs in the past and he’s also met therizinosaurs
Fun fact: Legendary productions believe it or not, created the Jurassic World movies but also does the Monsterverse movies. It’s why you sorta hear some Indominus Rex sounds used for the Skull Crawlers.
@@PEMXF Also interesting that Giganotosaurus in Jurassic World Domion is literally like a real life version of the Giganotosaurus of the Land Before Time Mysterious Island film aka the Sharptooth that had plates on its back, back stripes, red eyes with slit pupils, and fought Chomper’s T-Rex parents. Similarly, this Giganotosaurus was also green colored, had plates on its back, lived in a temperate evergreen fern lush covered forest etc. Also, Giganotosaurus looks a little bit like the Indominus Rex because Indominus Rex was literally made from Giganotosaurus DNA which is why she was bigger than Rexy slightly. Giganotosaurus always gets the more brutal deaths than most T-Rex depicted fates lol. Though, Allosaurus and Carnotaurus in past depictions did have some brutal fates but not anywhere near those that Giganotosaurus had. Carnotaurus in the Disney movie, Dinosaur fell off a cliff in the final battle and broke all its bones when it fell off a cliff, and in Land Before Time Saurus Rock movie, the Beige/Tan colored sharptooth aka the Allosaurus, fell into a canyon, and was crushed to death along with a green T-Rex by massive canyon boulders.

Allosaurus. Personally was the most fun Iv had in the isle was playing allo. I mained it in fact. It’s just a solid dinosaur and is probably one of the most perfect mid tier dinosaur in terms of speed, power, and agility. It can dance around tyrants if carful enough. Even bleed them out when in packs, and it’s fast and powerful enough to take on most things if done correctly. And it only has a handful of dinosaurs it should avoid at all costs. Like sucho in legacy. Sucho for some reason clapped allo.
Primeval Giga looks a lot like a Scorpios Rex.
TOP DINOSAURIOS DEPREDADORES CARNÍVOROS MAS. GRANDES
1SPINOSAURUS
2GIGANOTOSAURIO
3CARCHARODONTOSAURUS
4TIRANOSAURIO REX
This is im pretty sure accurate
Dino Crisis T-Rex was too oversized the Giga was way too oversized.
And still its best Giga ever
To be fair, if I'm right that giga was revealed to be a mutant.
@@kade-qt1zu by whom and how xd if they all were Just teleported into past with whole Base and they all died soon enough
@@dainardcoldgamer808 Future actually.
The Futuristic Science Facility the game reaches its climax is wholly separate from the outpost most of the game takes place in and around. The place was established as nature preserve for extinct species, purposefully placed far off into the distant future of Earth.
Dicking around with Third Energy somehow, conveniently(I don't remember the explanation) flung the whole outpost across time and into the preserve.
FINALLY SOMEONE WHO MENTION THE ISLE KGNWUNY&GYUGUYSE I BARELY SEE ANYONE MENTION THE ISLE

The Giganotosaurus was the largest meat-eating dinosaur that roamed the Earth.
Tyrannosaurus is Bigger 🗿
@@MAKATOONY It is heavier but shorter in length
@@xAntrim Read this:
Tyrannosaurus Rex (Specimen: RSNM - P2523.8 or in Short - "Scotty")
Size - 12,4 meters, Height - 4,10 meters and 10,800 kg
Giganotosaurus Carolinii (Specimen: MUCPv-95)
Size - 12,56 meters, Height - 3,90 meters and 7,860 kg
Spinosaurus Indet (Specimen:MSNM V4047)
Size - 13,3 meters, Height - 3,75 meters and 6,800 kg
And the most important thing is the whole, example - Blue Whale - 33m and Lion's Mane Jellyfish - 36,6 m, but
but the Blue Whale is 20,000+ times heavier. Another Example is An Elephant and a Giraffe, The Elephant Is Bigger.
@@MAKATOONY yes
@@xAntrim ?
You know not all of them are giga Some of hem are mapu
Which ones are mapusaurus then? Because all the ones here are referred to consists as giganotosaurus in their respective franchises
for the end fight never mind how realistic the dinosaurs look the giganotosaurus and t.rex shouldn't be in the same place t.rex was north America and giganotosaurus was south American and they didn't live at the same time
giga 2022
I think that Giga is too big for Rexy in real life Giganatosaurus is smaller than in JWD.
And Giga is very spiky.
ark giganotosaurus furiosa
