Madisen and Onry were meant to sing together. I am so glad they did this second duet. I can't say enough how proud I am that I chose to go to Portland State University. Let Knowledge Serve the City and Let the Gift of Song Bring Peace to Our Hearts! PSU you are forever in my heart.
deeply moving, joyous, and so perfect to post in these times of deep strife. Madisen and Onry's vocal harmonies are an exquisite expression of the social harmony we all need to foster. thank you so much for bringing them together for us again. this video is honest and perfect. I love the moments of just walking together at the beginning, great opening sequence. can't rush a good thing.
Once I quit crying, I will finish this note...okay, better now...heartbreakingly lovely...so very grateful that you created this and shared the amazing talents of Madisen and Onry once again. Wishing Peace and Goodwill to all!
Back again to listen for another Christmas. I sent the video to all of my students not only because the song is beautiful, but because I am SO proud to have gone to Portland State University. Let Knowledge Serve the City and Let the Gift of Song Bring Peace to our Hearts! PSU you are forever in my heart. Christmas 2021
Bravissimo!! The song by itself is such a beautiful opus, but for me it is the story of these two artists that is the most beautiful. Thank you College of the Arts for bringing them together again, and thank you Madisen and Onry for sharing with us the beauty, power, and majesty of this piece. Peace be with you.

Give us peace. Thank you so much for such a beautiful song, with such a positive message. I watched the video three times in a row, and twenty minutes later I still have tears in my eyes, the same tears I've managed to hold in throughout this horrendous, depressing, tumultuous year. I'm a PSU graduate, and familiar with campus. The suspenseful silence at the beginning of the video, coupled with the singers meeting up in areas of campus that would ordinarily be teaming with activity, but now appear deserted, had an effect on me. It made me think of you as a couple of survivors from an apocalypse, or as green buds sprouting after a forest fire. Watching Onry and Madison's silent acknowledgment of the BLM mural hit a nerve. It occurred to me that your song isn't just about ending a terrible year on a beautiful note, but that it's also filled hope, and respect, and love, and serves to mark a rebirth, a new beginning. I promised myself I wouldn't go on and on but, oh well, this was worth it. Lol
Hi, are these two parts written out or recorded separately somewhere? If so, could you point me to a place where I could learn these two parts? (I'm a very mediocre singer, but would like to learn and sing this with my husband.)

Beatiful! Recorded during Covid as we shut down and fear lockdown of a different kind in 2025.. thank you, Madisen and Emmanuel.

Music started at :12
Everybody needs to pretend they are cryin' with their best friend there.
:12 is wrong, never release a video again with that mistake. The music needs to start by :04 to have any serious impact.
Your only mistake was taking too long to sing in this video, music needs to start 4 seconds in max.
PAULA SCANLAN ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!
RILEY GAINES ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!
