Great video, thanks a lot 👏👏. I've two simple notes when anchoring ... 1. instead of adding space to the type box, you can set a value in the field under the destination selection. It's called Y-Offset. It sets a space either on top of the element or beneath it. 2. You can simply click and drag to any element in the artboard and XD will know aromatically it's an anchor link. No need to select the destination from the menu. I'm a UI/UX Designer and I use XD daily as my main design tool.
Ahmad Ragab thanks a lot Ahmad for these tips! I'm new to Anchor links in XD so these are great to know. Any other parts of the workflow that you would have done differently?
The concept of XD presentation brings up a very good point. I'm not sure Adobe intended this, but the idea of an interactive presentation with working prototypes sets a entire new bar in how we convey our projects. It may be the death of MS Powerpoint.
Oh boy, my experience with Adobe XD is less than 1 mnth and I'm starting to LOVE IT I'd like to know how to record the UX presentation for my portfolio - simply record the screen?
Very nice and inspiring. However, how would you export this presentation and ship it off to the client with the cool animations and transitions still active and functioning?
Hey this is awesome. Can you help me out please, what’s the best way to export this to a client let’s say. Someone without the software but can access the fully working file of the presentation.
Very exciting tutorial Martin! I have never used Xd..but I must say , that you opened me a great appetite to start learning it right now. As far as I can see it worths a lot. I must check the Adobe documentation for Xd, but in the same time any other tutorial you might post about Xd it will be more than welcome! Thank you very much for sharing!❤ Very interesting!
I like the idea to make presentation on XD.. but how do you send it via email to someone who doesn't have XD.. Is there a way to save it as interactive presentation Looking forward for a reply!!
In the Share section, you can make a URL that has the entire interactive presentation in it and share it with anyone. Just make sure you define a home page in the Prototype section first, by selecting an artboard and ticking the home icon next to its upper left corner.
Thank you so much for this video, Martin! I'm a huge fan of PowerPoint and was really intrigued to find out about this completely new software for me:) Super excited to try it out😃
Can this be exported to interactive PDF or PPTX? how can my clients view the presentation made from XD? Should i tell my clients that they also need to install XD? thanks
@@MrHale You just share a URL and when they click on it, it will open in their browser. They don't need XD or anything special installed. Here's an example: xd.adobe.com/view/820f1be8-909f-4cf6-a1be-73cc8b6b727d-d75c/?fullscreen If you remove the ?fullscreen at the end, the viewer gets more control options (which can be accessed by pressing ESC).
Great video, thanks for this! I'm just curious if we can export slides from the XD as an editable PowePoint / Google slides template? Figma allows doing this..
Wow honestly a nice video, one of my points of critism is the music. If u would replace the music with animations or animation-sounds, it might increase ur videos in professionality, while i am not saying that ur video content is not professional best wishes Nana
As someone who semi-frequently gives presentations, I would severely miss the presenter notes features of PPT and Keynote. Of course, I can see how this would work well for anything that was self-guided.
Is there a way to make something appear when you click on the screen? For example, I don't want an icon to appear on the slide until I click on the slide. Does that make sense?
OK, but how to save the file for a client he doesn't have XD? And there are text option limitation in other languages. I'm not a big fan of PP as well, I still wish we have a real presentation software.
Hm, I was looking for a way to export it into something like a interactive pdf. But this video only shows how to use the basics of Adobe XD. I have researched a lot but it doesn't seem to be possible to export it into an interactive pdf :/ I am not doing presentation with it, I am doing UI-Mockups. So I don't get why anyone would prefere Adobe XD over Power Point for a presentation. Power Point is much better and you can export it as pdf.
I FKG HATE ADOBE! I have been a fully paid user for decades only to be absolutely enraged with this dumb ass of a company. I feel like killing myself every-time I use Xd or Muse. Good video but Xd is EXTREMELY frustrating to use, no wonder they are buying Figma. I will be happy to pay extra money for Sketch!
Great video, thanks a lot 👏👏.

@@YesImaDesigner No, not really. The techniques used in this video were optimal for the task required. Thanks again for it. 👍
When i watch this video, I didn't believe that this was 24 mins.Very interesting !
I would like to see a second in-depth video on creating presentations too! Highly appreciated.
Very interesting! Adobe XD is really a powerhouse when it comes to interactive design. Would love to see more videos on XD!!

An amazing upgrade to power point presentations
Your way of explaining is awesome. New to XD and of all the vids/tutorials I've watched so far, this one is by far the best.
Looks like xd is giving better results in presentation. I will love to see more vedios on xd presentation.
“Yes I’m designer” with ur videos
Thank you 🙏
Thanks, I love XD as well. I Like the interactivity and ability to get design feed back. You have a very approachable way of giving instructions.
You could use negative Y-offset in scroll to type...instead of manipulating the text field.
Fantastic tutorial mate! Your communication is excellent as well. Thank you for this!

I'd like to know how to record the UX presentation for my portfolio - simply record the screen?
Wonderful tutorial! Thank you for putting it together for free 🧡
In 2 words: *Great Video* 👌
Wow, those icons from noun project really rock. I way always dependent on those crappy ones from freepik etc..
Very nice and inspiring. However, how would you export this presentation and ship it off to the client with the cool animations and transitions still active and functioning?
how do you export such presentation.. lets say for showing it at meetings and such (without internet)
Hey this is awesome. Can you help me out please, what’s the best way to export this to a client let’s say. Someone without the software but can access the fully working file of the presentation.
What if you need to export the presentation maybe to a client
I got my presentation in one day and a half, let's do this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, how to export the xd prototype into powerpoint?
Is there a way to export and share it like a PowerPoint slide show where it opens like a full screen presentation ?
This was awesome! Thanks for sharing as always!
can we add sound effect on clicking the button
🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 MIND BLOWING!!!!!

Аня Манафова I'm glad my intro didn't discouraged you from watching the rest of the video 😉 good luck with XD!

It's good video but how export this presentation, for example, for client?
I have the same question.
@@MrHale use the SHARE tab - it's next to the PROTOTYPE tab. You can then click 'create link' and share it with anyone.
@@JayKing Thank you! And do they have to own copy of XD or what file type will it be shared as?

Why didn't I ever feel this? ;-; I thought Xd is good for Ui prototyping only. Infinite possibilities huh!
Is possible export this as .PDF saving interactions?
same question for me
Same question
same question, but I don't think it is possible from Adobe XD
I believe there’s a plug-in that can help with this: www.tiled.co/platform
This is THE question. otherwise you end up have to screen capture each slide and use the finder to make pdf, which you can open in acrobat.
As someone who semi-frequently gives presentations, I would severely miss the presenter notes features of PPT and Keynote. Of course, I can see how this would work well for anything that was self-guided.
You have opened my mind
Thanks for this :) I enjoyed watching and learning, I just want to ask how to save an XD file for presentation?
Can I present my slides in full screen like powerpoint presentations?
Perfect. Thanks a lot
how do you get the component option on the right panel ? it it on the left for me and there is no option like hover state....
Wonderful, Thanks please drop more tutorial on Adobe XD
Is there a way to make something appear when you click on the screen? For example, I don't want an icon to appear on the slide until I click on the slide. Does that make sense?
Great content 👌🏾👍🏾
Can we export the file for LMS?
So how do you export this presentation in ppt?
I have the same question because our school pcs only have ppt
Thank you so much
