The best way to understand the true character of many if not all of American Indian tribes is to listen to the horrible experiences of those captives and how they were treated whether they be white Hispanic or from rival Indian tribes. The truth should be taught about all history no matter who or what history it is only the truth matters and not some political or cultural make believe dreams
@@robertgiles9124 According to the description provided in the OP. The author was literally a snake oil peddler. Whoops. The first clue was when he wound up overrun in a buffalo stampede, magically vaulted onto the back of a male bison.

"Best described as a fictional autobiography..." Entertaining but completely made up from whole cloth! ☆ I'm part NativeAmerican Comanche & this fiction doesn't ring true to me or anyone I know who has read or listened to it 🤔 but the volunteer reader was excellent! Thanks ❄ 🌎❄
You should read some history books, maybe start with empire of the summer moon, I'm actually embarrassed for you that you are so ignorant of the history of the tribe you claim to descend from
Darn it! Wasted a couple hours of my life until I had enough and researched if it was real, which it is not. Should’ve gave up when he started surfing on top of bison 😂. Then they’re are the pyramids, and Quetzalcoatl 🤔!?

I'm sorry but this is just too much, this reader's over dramatized reading, I just can't take it any longer. This is not some Michael Bay Hollywood mothe Hollywood movie, though it might be written as such. It's not necessary to put another 1000% of drama on top of it with your reading it such.
He is describing taking 37 human scalps in a single afternoon, and the voice is overly-dramatic? What is the appropriate level of drama when narrating a massacre, in your opinion?

It makes me wonder how true it is as did Comanches have temples and underground rooms as described? Excellent reading, thank you.
Thanks for your excellent reading of this!

Enjoying it, good narrator. But, not certain if it is all true! Riding a buffalo sounds very unlikely.

Modern life is so boring compared with the lives of people in this period.
Animals then, animals now.
Is this a true account, or fiction?
Fascinating, exciting and terrible.

Cope harder
Indiana Jones has nothing on this story
This is not complete
This doesn't sound like a person captured by commanche Indians, unless he was English major before captured
You need to read some authentic accounts written by various people of the old west. You will be surprised at their command of the english language.
