    🔥I wanted to make a better version of a baby white noise generator. I has better light control, the sound that my baby likes, it stores the settings to EEPROM and it has radio control or IR remote. The volume is gradually cintrolled.

    You are one of few guys that still make own projects. Most of the YT channels is just unboxing and tests of sponsored stuff.

    This is a great project. White noise is not just for babies. I use it to block out noise from outside when I a sleeping. When my son was a baby I used to walk with him near a stream and he liked the sound so I also got a similar sound from an app on my phone.

    Loved the idea! My baby girl is 4 months old now, and white noise really helps her sleep. Usually we put “Rain Sounds” on RUclips.
    I’ll definitely make one for her, thankfully I already have all of the components for this particularly project at home!
    Cheers from Brazil! Keep on!

    As the father of a 2 month old myself I very much appreciate this project. It's very interesting. I'm glad you threw the radio control in there at the end. Earlier on in the video I was thinking about if this was built with an ESP32 an Android app could have been used to trigger the different MP3 files or as an alternative to the built-in buttons. Your remote control makes that unnecessary. One nice thing about that approach is if an ADS1115 is used (one channel to measure the voltage of the two batteries in series and one channel to measure the voltage of the battery that is connected to ground) the voltages of the batteries can be calculated and reported back to the Android app so that the user knows when to recharge (when it is getting low). I used that approach in one of my projects with two 18650 batteries in series like this.
    Thank you for creating this neat projects and sharing it Andrei.

    As always, great video! Just one question: is it safe to connect 2 18650 to the 4056? Shouldn’t be used a bms that could charge the two batteries separately?

    • @ELECTRONOOBS
      @ELECTRONOOBS  4 месяца назад +1

      Yes, the nano can work well with voltages from 2.7V to 6V. The clock speed might be affected and other stuff like ADC, bur for this project is ok. Actually there are nanos that world at only 3.3V

  • @astrogerard
    @astrogerard 4 месяца назад

    Nice, but are you not afraid hurting your baby? Exposing longer times to noise might give someone Tinnitus. Unfortunately I'm a victim of the same. Long exposure to (not so loud) noise and for many years I have Tinnitus due to that. It lasts a lifetime so it will never go away. I wish I new then.
