Hey Rich, been going to POP for over 10 years. My wife is Dominican. This airport is underserved and security has gotten to a point that most people will go to Santiago instead. Only 3 airlines from the States fly there. Only one flight on AA from Miami. Jet Blue only flies from Kennedy. This airport has alot of potential yet it is poorly managed. Its a shame.
Actually, there are 3 states airlines working, AA, Jetblue and United, AA has 2 flts daily to Miami, and wekends to Charlotte. Jetblue goes daily to New York and Boston, and United to Newark. Also, Saturdays Alligiant goes to Pittsburg. I know this airport Miss a lot of things because They have The potential of being The greatest north coast's airport, but the owners only cares charters flights.

The majority amount of flights this airport receives are from europe not from USA
It's safe to travel by this airport, some thieves was robbering outside before but police already catched them
