Just listen is definitely one my very favourite books, so beautifully done, I've read it a few times now and each time I am on the edge of my seat. I love it even more because it was my first Sarah Dessen book so for me it was the gateway to all of her other amazing ones too. This just makes me want to go for yet another re-read!

Along for the ride is an amazing one, and just listen is also extremely good. Just Listen was the first one of her books i read and i was completely hooked. I LOVE Looking For Alaska, The Fault in our Stars, Anna and The French Kiss and Fangirl. Mostly because those are the only contemporaries I've read but they are all SOOOOO terrific.

I loved My Life Next Door! I definitely want to read Rainbow Rowell's books next after your review! If you haven't yet you should check out beach blondes by Katherine Applegate! It is such an amazingly cute series and its one of my favorite contemporaries!

I love Sarah Dessen and I LOVE Just Listen! It's easily my favorite, but a part of that could just be because of the emphasis on music, as I am seriously into music. Also, like you said, the family dynamics in this book is SO good and I love how you're constantly trying to figure out what happened to her popularity, but it takes so long because she just simply doesn't want to talk about it, which totally makes sense, given the situation. I could go on about that book for awhile. Also Anna and the French Kiss and Fangirl are some of my favorites as well! I don't think I've read any of the others on this list, but after seeing this video, I definitely want to read them all! Also also, first video of yours I've seen (thank you recommended videos section on a PeruseProject video), but I will definitely be watching more. :) (wow that's a long comment, jeeeeez)

We have the same top 3 Sarah dessen books but mine in preset are the truth about forever, lock and key, and then it's just listen. Though every time I rerread just listen it starts to sneak up before lock and key haha. Love love love my life next door and I have been dying to read perfect chemistry and crash into you
Have you read the "Uglies" trilogy by Scott Westerfield? It's one of my favorit trilogies (dystopia) I love love love it and I think you would really like it as well since you like The Hunger Games, Divergent etc. :)
Totally recommend 13 Little Blue Envelopes by Maureen Johnson if you're into into fluff and cuteness and all that good stuff :) it's set all over Europe, as well, so the settings are amazing. So good.

They were: "Dried Chicken Feet and Turtles With No Tongues," "8^10 (Eight to the Tenth Power," "What Do They Say," and "The Negroes and The Half-Black, Half-White President." My local book stores did not have copies but were willing to order for me. I instead went on-line and ordered from Amazon.com. Alfonso is an African American from the Deep South. His writing is insightful, funny, erotic, topical and brillianly put together. Please read this author and let the world know what an outstanding writer this author is.

The first Sarah Dessen book I read was Just Listen and I finished What Happened To Goodbye two months ago
I just read The book of broken hearts and I loved it. Gave it 5 stars. Loved the relationship between Jude and her dad.
