I love how it's only wave 1 but it still sounds so developed compared to other first waves!! Also is it just me or does this vibe kinda fit little big planet? Mostly the first 2! It's got that lbp2 starter level energy! I also can't wait for the fan content of this! If an island goes hard, the content is harder!!
Did not expect a new island out of nowhere today! While it is only 5 monsters as of right now, I can already see the vision of what they are going for. The monster designs are great as well! I am especially a bit fan of the monster in the center, they have such an elegant look to them!
So, okay, here are all my thoughts about everything in the Island: 🖼 Design: Absolutely amazing, it really captures the whole "Ethereal" theme (without looking to Space and Alien, like Ethereal Island) and it just seems very colorful, bright and beautiful. If i had to describe it, Ethereal Workshop feels more like an "otherworld" while Ethereal Island feels more like "the things that came from the otherworld", you know? ⚙ Mechanic: The Attuning Menu really needs to be fleshed out, looks a little bit weird, but still, the Mechanics are okay. The idea of needing to have a Mirror Island is downright genious, because of the lore and also it doesn't make the monsters here too easy to get. About the egg system, i think it's okay, you really get it after the first time. 🎶 Monsters: I love how everyone assumed Auglur was the monster that played an Angklung, Handlers really trolled everyone there, didn't they? Well, the designs of the monsters are good, i haven't read the bio of any yet, but it's probably pretty interesting and the sounds are amazing! Just as, actually, unexpected! 🎵 Song: The Song in general seems pretty good, it has a good castle bass and the monsters help it. Right now it's way too empty, unlike Mythical Island, for example, which with 5 monsters alredy felt way more "complete" (but, still, the monsters on mythical island, specially sporerow, play for a long time). So yeah, the song seems pretty good. In total, i'll give it an 8/10! Still in the first update, so nothing much really, but the island still needs to be a little bit fleshed out with some menus and mechanics. Other than that, it's beautiful, amazing, incredible and just... cool haha
@@vagnersilva2672 ok the whistle is besides the point. The sound played in the teaser is not present in the current state of the full song, meaning it's probably going to be in a new verse. Josh wouldn't have been recreating a sound that isn't going to be in the game at some point, whether or not the whistle is there.

Monster Handlers are doing the same thing they did with Mythical: Start with only 5 out of the 15. With Mythical it was G'joob, Strombonin, Yawstrich, Cataliszt and Sporerow! With Workshop it's Yoorek, Meebkin, Blarret, Gaddzooks and Auglur!
I’m going to guess that there may be a gold island for ethereals. With all the singles, doubles, triples, quads, and of course the quint. Very curious to see how it turns out!

I love how the vibe given off by ethereal workshop is completely different from ethereal island. The island gives off the vibe of leaving earth’s atmosphere for the first time and exploring the stars, whereas the workshop gives off the vibe of aliens working on some massive technological project.
This is already better than Mythical when it first came out. (WHEN IT FIRST CAME OUT!) Mythical is top tier now, so if it keeps it up it could be one of the best sounding island in the game.
I love how they took the fact that they’d never make 3 element ethereals and threw it out the window. But they also kept the fact that they’re still very unstable
Probably one of my favorite things about these monsters is just how _detailed_ they are. Think about the original natural monsters from 2012. They had basic colorschemes with flat textures. THESE monsters look like an immense amount of thought was put into each individual piece of their designs. They have bumps, and scales, and fluffy parts. Smoother lines, everything just looks better.
I love how weird these guys look,I’ve made a few weird creatures and I even draw weird creatures like these,I love weird creatures,in my opinion being weird is what makes them unique :D
