- First let me apologize for the bad audio. In this tutorial I show the method we use to mount our Pixel based props to the roof. I cover the process from start to finish. We use a variety of parts to accomplish this, they can be found in a parts list below.
EMT Bender: amzn.to/3DS8pOl
100 ct 1/2" EMT clamps: amzn.to/3totfjo
Henry's sealant: amzn.to/3ha3YEC
16 ga punched bar/backstrap: www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-...
Mattos Designs EzMount 10 pack: mattosdesigns.com/collections... Хобби
Excellent idea. Now I know how props are attached to the roof.
What if it gets windy? Aren't you worried about shingles being broken off?
Won't this destroy the shingles in bad wind?
Nice video, thanks for sharing! I think I need some of those mounts from Mattos Designs now that I have seen them in action. Nice footage with the drone too. Who needs an assistant...! No worries about the sound, it just makes me hate Blue Jays even more!
good news you got 1k subscribers
I would like to do this, too, but have some of the same concerns as those who posted before me. Google tells me you live in MI, which has the same awful, windy, icy, snowy weather we have here. Can you tell me how the larger Xmas props you have hold up in ice storms/blizzards/etc? Am also concerned about shingle damage; the last thing we want is for our roof to leak. Can you please speak to this?
You should Film the Whole Halloween Light show 2021 this year but you can post songs from it but you should make a video with all of the songs from Halloween Light show 2021 in one whole Video
Dude that's a steep pitch!!!
I have a question. Would you come set this up for me if I paid for everything? I would love more than anything to have this but I was in a car accident where a drunk driver hit me head on so i'm disabled and can't do stuff like this and my husband works 6 days a week and just doesn't have the time. But id be willing to pay for the props and you for your time etc. If you would be willing to come set it up for us?
Hi Angel, I’m very sorry to hear about the drunk driver. That’s terrible. These displays are very involved, and take several months to build and set up. I apologize but I just wouldn’t be able to do anyone else’s display.
@@BostickFamilyLightShow Thank you for getting back to me I really appreciate it. Is there any way you could build a few of the display pieces for me to buy and I'll get someone else to install them? If not I totally understand. It looks like so much work. But it's soooo beautiful.
@@angelwings0224 I wouldn’t be able to this year, but maybe for next year. We are a ways behind for our Christmas show so we don’t have time to take on other projects
