I think you’ve brought joy into all our lives by letting us live vicariously through you while you open all these book boxes 😂 You know, I tend to avoid long videos because I don’t have the capacity to sit through them, but I finished your video, and it didn’t feel long at all because I think your voice is soothing and relaxing lol. I watch a lot of RUclips and also don’t like to watch longer videos, so I tend to watch them in 2 or 3 sittings. I think this is why I worry when I film videos over an hour long 😬

The Fourth Wing "Czwarte skrzydło" - you got polish version. Werid to see for some reason for me as a polish girl that someone from UK have it 😅 fun fact: most books in Poland that are translated have unchanged graphic design. Which is great, because you don't have to look for a foreign edition just for the sake of appearance.
Haha it is a bit random! It was definitely an impulse buy for the sprayed edges 😂 I liked that the covers are mostly the same on the translated fiction 🥰
Before watching I'm going to get something to drink and snack. Really love watching bookhauls. You get so many great ideas!😊

I was wondering if you knew that the darker shade of magic series and cassidy blake series also both have limited edition versions in the netherlands😅 the darker shade of magic series (first 3 books, form the map of london on the edges) and fragile threads of power has an sprayed edge with lines. The cassidy blake series has the skyline of the cities on the edges😊. Just so you know :)

Czwarte Skrzydlo is a Polish edition of Fourth Wing ^^ We have a new one now, with a red cover and it has stunning character art on endpapers and beautiful edges 😊

I’m in the US and have used Blackwell’s a lot. I usually prefer the UK covers and the paper over the US and the shipping is free to boot.
I do prefer a lot of the UK covers over the US ones too 🥰 I think Blackwell’s and Waterstones are owned by the same people, so sometimes I order something from Waterstones and it arrives from Blackwell’s! X

For “the book that broke the world” and “the book that wouldn’t burn” were backwards when you were showing the sprayed edges together. The books that are turn sideways should gravel to line up.

Love this haul! So many amazing books and editions. If you do listen to Fourth Wing I can highly recommend the Graphic Audio version, it has amazing sound effects, I loved it!

What I miss from most reviewers online is their own feelings. You bought the book, but why? What of the story did you find interesting? What of the cover made you want to buy it? Etc. Like I can see they are happy, but why? Like so many booktube and tok videos are just lists, that's boring, to me at least. I'm saying it here because there are fewer comments here, and maybe you read this. I really like your enthusiasm and you seem really genuine, but I am just more curious about your thoughts.❤

@@erins0526 the problem is that our weather is so varied. We’ve had a couple of REALLY hot weeks… but then we have times like today, where I am wearing two jumpers 😂

Is fourth wing & iron flame in the same series?
Are they good reads?
yes they are the same series; Fourth Wing is the first and Iron Flame the second (third one is out next year).
So this is not a straight forward question 😂 People either love these books or hate them. The world building in them is terrible, so people who tend to have read a lot of fantasy in the past are very critical of this. Some of the plot in the second book is a bit weak too. But despite these facts I love them. They read very much like the Hunger Games, very quick, high stakes, and a bit of smut (they are romantasy). I would say give Fourth Wing a go and see how you feel ☺️

I gave the familiar a 3.5. Unfortunately this was the first leigh bardough book i have read. I know her other books are better rated, but it doesn't inspire me to read them anytime soon.
I see a 3.5 as ok; like enjoyable, but I wouldn’t rush to recommend it or read it again. I love the grishaverse books, which are YA and probably very different. X
Okay so the same people who work for Amazon work for Waterstones because Amazon packs their books horrrrribly too 😂🤦🏻♀️

@@lindasreadingcorner3962 you only pay extra if the parcels are there for longer than 45 days; otherwise they charge a consolidation fee on top of the shipping cost for the whole parcel. So I tend to have mine shipped every 2-3 months x
