Ggs. I need to learn to adapt in my stances more and switch up between them to keep my opponents guessing. I find myself always doing the same 3 or 4 mixups in the stance but watching you makes me realize it should be way more fluid than that. Its one thing to do in practice but another thing to execute them in the moment. Currently stuck at destroyer with lots to learn.

Lars, so far, is A+++ Tier. The perfect spot, as long as you have your basic fundamentals and fairly know what you are doing. Ten times better than Tekken 7. They fixed almost all of his stuff, and only nerfed his hellsweep. They replaced it with something better though.
I remembered fighting a Reina player and I’m still new and practicing but when I lost the match to her the guy trash messaged me telling me to play a different game from how bad I was and after telling the person I was new to this game he still said the same thing.
Not going to lie people will probably think im a idiot but I think Lars is still weak even in tekken 8 he can be hit out of everything only thing is knowing the match up but he’s not truly safe on anything his dashes should be as victors he has no true mix up and mids kill Lars this saddens me

Everything you said is WRONG. SEN 1 is buffed. SEN 3+4 is now even 0 on block. you have SEN 1+2 now - that’s 3 mids. DEN 3 is the best gotd4mn mid in the game, with options to go into SEN and wreck the opponent ON BLOCK - its a FRAME TRAP. There’s even more to this move. I can also guess that you aren’t stepping with lars, and sidestepping has been buffed in this game. You are NOT playing him right, and do not know how to play him then. #1 You can no longer interrupt Lars going into SEN because of SEN 1 being buffed, as well as Lars base moves going into SEN were buffed with extra + frames ON HIT. #2 You need to verify that you aren’t mashing on block when going into SEN. #3 Even if that was the case, that is the whole point of DEN B and LEN. You use and mix the movement and moves from these stances, and even FC to make the opponent whiff what you think is interrupting you. Then you punish it. It’s your responsibility to know what Lars’s whiff punishers are at every range. #4 If they are interrupting you with something that is slow, just use SEN 4 at that point. It’s a power crush. #5 If they are stepping you, use SEN 4 at that point. It’s also homing. *NOTE #6 Now, incidently, if you are bustin that a55 clocking the opponent with SEN 4 a few times because they can”t interrupt AND they can”t step, they will be forced to duck the move. A soon as you verify that, go back to using SEN 1, or if you have balls like me, try out a SEN 3 and launch your opponent’s remedial a55.
Nothing feels worse playing Lars than someone interrupting one of his stances, one of his entries, man.
That’s why we have f1,2,3 and ws2,1
….And SEN 1. SEN 4 honorable mention too.
