Does this cool things down? I read things must be cold for it to stay cool but if i put some coke in it would it become cold and how long would it take for it to turn cold?

I have a pink one and it did keep my drinks cold for a bit the only thing is now it's not and I got to figure out what's wrong with it and why it's not keeping anything cold anymore. The fan is still working there's no dirt or dust on it when I went to open it up so I'm not sure what's going on.
