The way you say Denton was throwing me off until I saw it written on your Polaroids lol. Cause I thought you were going to say Denton but then it sounded to me like you said Den. Anyway much love from Austin. Glad to hear everyone was safe during the storm
@@aaroncomerford8050 oh wow really? I wouldn’t have guessed from the size of the downtown. The downtown felt about the size of my smaller town of 30,000
I am also a Polaroid I-2 owner and lover, I can relate to feeling a bit alone in my enjoyment of the camera. At the start I think I and a lot of us got really defensive when some of the I-2 slander was coming ("the lens is plastic!" "the viewfinder is terrible!" "It isn't an SLR!" "it is sixhundred dollars!") and had the sense the I-2 could do no wrong and all the people criticizing it were doing so in bad faith. While a lot of people were, I think I've mellowed out from feverish defense of the camera to just feverish appreciation for the camera regardless of what others think! I am happy to know there are others out there that love the camera, the I-2 owners facebook group keeps me encouraged!
would like to see the polaroid i2 tested with identical shots against a regular polaroid 660/670 AF camera. Interesting to see the picture differences, if any.
@@cold_porcelain I buy from Polaroid directly most of the time, Amazon can be hit and miss quality-wise. Not always, but I’ve definitely had some older and glitchier packs come from there
I just came back from Florida and got some pizza but I was not able to do a double exposure because the weather sucked :( We were in Boynton Beach so the storm was not bad but rained the whole week.
Nice insight on the event! Just curious, if that group is not a fan of the I-2, what do they like? Only modded SX-70s? I've never touched an I-2 but it seems sweet to me!
@@doublenegative4real Found it a couple months ago in a box of old stuff stored at my parents. No idea where it came from or its history but I got the film bug again after realizing I could actually get film for it and that it still works! So, I'm new to Polaroids but having fun!
