When I first started uploading videos (which is a terrifyingly short time ago, now that I think about it), there were two fanfictions I knew I wanted to read. The first was FINAGLC, and the second was this one. It's taken me some time to get to it, but here we finally are!
This one will come in three parts, the next two parts coming out over the next two weeks. FINAGLC will remain on schedule (well, as "on schedule" as it's ever been, uploading somewhere between Monday and Wednesday). I did the backdrop art myself, I wish I'd spent a bit more time on it, but honestly I was too excited to get this one out to do more, lol. There will be opportunities to improve, though.
For the record, there's supposed to be a sort of caustic light effect going on in the lit area, but it doesn't seem to have shown up very well in the final render.
Overgrowth was written by SociopathicArchangel on archiveofourown.org. Undertale and all of its characters belong to Toby Fox. The Flowerfell AU was created by / siviosanei and / underfart-snas

I'm not late to the undertale fandom, but I had never got a chance to read the flowerfell fic. It's really upsetting to hear about what happened to the creator and their story. I hope they have a chance to recover from this and continue to do what they love.

Honestly a lot from what I've heard the RUclipsr Streamline workshop has a video that can give you insight on what happened.

The writer has taken down Overgrowth. The thievery, Rewrites, and blatant ignorance to the writers wishes resulted as such. It's gotten to the point that they also wish for no Translations to stay up no longer.
It to say good bye, the fic had a good 8month run.
People Suck, they couldn't leave a good thing alone in its original writing so now none can enjoy them.
Nothing was said of Audio reading but lets just hope they at least give the okay to keep thoes up it keep the source alive.
I got permission ahead of time to make these, and they haven't said anything to me about it one way or another, so these will be staying up :3
If the author didn't wish to have their work edited copied and placed elsewhere when they or it on the internet then they should have never made the story. I doubt they had a copyright to it. It is selfish and dumb that they take down a story simply because others replicate and rewritten it.
If they ask someone to remove a copy they had and they never copyrighted the story then nobody hast to remove it
I fact I think I might make a text copy off of this. Unless they have a copywrite then yeah I will make a text copy and post it somewhere
It's selfish when other Steal and claim the material as thier own, than re write it to fit thier ideals. And dumb when they cry about getting caught and be the cause of why the source was taken down.
Why would anyone wanna read a bunch of fake copy's or poorly edited version of the original?
You must have never created anything in your life that you we're proud of that you'd want to show it to others, to only have it stolen and edited to fit the needs of the thief.
Sure the Writter could have kept it to themselves but they where gracious enough not to.
If they had in the end other would have called them selfish and dumb to create such an art to only keep to themselves and for no one to see.

It just brakes my heart when I think about the fate of flowerfell the first time I saw anything about it was the secret garden animation 2-3 years ago and I cried I didn’t know a thing about the AU but it affected me that much then I found this and since then flowerfell has become my 2nd favourite AU and everytime I come back to it I tear up. But despite the tragedy of what happened flowerfell and it’s message to always be kind will live on forever.
i managed to read this soon before it was taken down. good ass fic, going to listen to this later.
Every couple of months it’s nice to come back to this AU and your readings for it. It’s just a big comfort 💖🌼💖

I came back to this series cause of delta rune. This has been my favorite series for two years straight,
I'm sad they took it down, I had no idea that it was and I was frantically looking for it for such a long time! My friend found artwork about it and asked me and I was like "oh! let me get the link and show you! it's so good and well written!" only to find it was gone ;_;
I'm super happy to see this though and I get to listen to at least an audio that inspired me to write an Undertale fanfiction in general.
Mostly relieved it isn't fully gone and still enjoy it.

It sucks that people couldn't respect the creator's wishes when it came to the Flowerfell Universe. I really would've liked to have been into Undertale when Flowerfell was at its peak.

@@lucas8141 you might’ve figured it out but now but just in case you still don’t know, the creator of Flowerfell was harassed by some people in the fandom to make Frans (a Sans x Frisk ship) cannon, as well as having their work stolen and reposted. From what I know they deleted all their Flowerfell content because of this. There’s a video by Streamline that goes into more detail about the situation

Aha, so YOU'RE the one who has been blowing up my Tumblr with likes :-P Thank you! By the time I started Overgrowth, I'd already had quite a bit of practice from my other series, Flowey Is Not a Good Life Coach. At the beginning I read WAY TOO FAST, and it's kind of hard for me to go back to those early chapters and listen now, lol. But I got better with practice. And I already love audiobooks, so I was sort of familiar with how those are read to begin with.
Thank you for reading this aloud, so people can sincerely enjoy it. I've wanted to read this, but was too late. Also, I like how you read it. You don't make the voices or the narrative sound funny. Thank you 😊

YEAH, Overgrowth!!!! I love this, even if after all the FINAGLC chapters I'm having a real hard time trusting Flowey and seeing Papyrus as the threat in this situation! xD Anyway, this is really great - I especially love the use of sound effects!! Bring on the feels...
+Lyris L. It was SO HARD finding a genuinely kind Flowey voice, lol. It's so easy to make him sound sarcastic and uncaring. I sort of forgot about that until I started. And yeah, this one I'm not going to do music, but layering in the sound effects was so much fun! I got to get some practice doing a M-M-M-MULTITRACK!

8 years later and i finnaly am reading this, I'm happy you never had to take this down I get to hear it, i may not know if they put the story back up, if they did amazing, I just like hearing it instead of reading it and happy you did the cc so i can follow along. Also heard shipping distored this au, there is only one thing to do about shipping, just pretend they don't exist for that is the only thing you can do, I don't pursonaly like shipping sometimes i ship things, if i think it would happen, but I don't think this au had any clues to that ship, nor did classic undertale, but i usally don't use it if it isn't cannon. Well there is my ramble, eather my comments or short, or just long, like i just write it all down, thanks adhd it's like when i get talking, ok stopping now

I found the concept of the AU very interesting. It's a shame I'll never be able to read the original story just because some people can't bother to care. Fortunately, some other people helped commoners like us to get a peek of once was a great fanfiction by archiving it, in a way. Thank you.

But Flowerfell is an AU of Underfell (AU inception!), so it's similar in a couple aspects.

I read the fanfiction story before they deleted it from the internet (made me sad, but that was their decision), and I was on the hunt again for it today. I found this gem!
