Yep the surgery provided my with wonderful vision. God’s peace and be sure to rest. Although there is very little down time it is always good to take a bit of rest. Haven’t crafted much lately, you know thumbs, knees, arthritis came for an unwelcome visit. Stay well friend of mine.
I had my cataract surgery on my left eye last November, 2021, then caught COVID and couldn't seem to get over it. It is funny when I lay down and watch programs and channels on my laptop; my right eye can't see so what I see is a split screen right side blurry and left side crystal clear. I'm hopin' I can hurry up and get my right eye done so that the split screen goes to sleep, never to wake up again!! God's blessings on you and your surgeon when you get your eyes fixed.
You will be sooooo happy after your surgery. Colors are much clearer....I don't even need distance glasses anymore (altho I do need readers). You WILL want sunglasses. Fingers crossed!
This is really cute! I have so many ideas from you but I can't keep up! I'm praying your eye surgery goes well. I think I rested the day of then I was good to go! You'll be amazed and happy. TFS🤗🙏
Your accordion binder is simple and sturdy. It’s the best one I’ve ever seen. Thanks for sharing another great idea with us. Hope your surgery goes 100% successful. ❤️
Congrats on your cataract surgery decision. I plan on 2022 being the year I have mine. Lovely tags and such devotion to your fans. God Bless you. Prayers for speedy recovery. 🤗💜😇
One word, wow, beautiful book. I have hunted high and low for one of Edith Holden books 📚 but have not been able to find one anywhere. I hope your eyes get better soon. It’s autumn here now and the temperatures sure have dropped, instead of one blanket at night, it’s two now. Even my cat stays in at night and cuddles into me. So it’s a good excuse to craft and this will indeed keep me busy. Thanks again lovely lady for the inspiration to get going and make one of these. Keep safe and stay well, till next time…….😘🙏👍
Hello E, very pretty accordion tag journal. Happy for you that you have a scheduled date for your surgery, hope all goes well and you have a speedy recovery. Thanks for sharing.
I love the look of this little tag album. Better yet, it looks easy -- But the recipient will think it took hours! Thank you for sharing this technique!
I'm glad to see you on tonight I was worried that you had to have surgery. I know you said you had to have the Preop for surgery. And when I hadn't seen you in a few days I said oh oh she must have had it.
Again, absolutely lovely! I love the accordion bindings and everything about the style and embellishments. Mm mm good! Thanks for the inspiration! All kinds of ideas. Just gotta start!
Miss E, I am almost at the end of my recovery period from my two eye surgeries, and I truly could have crafted the same day after I had each surgery. The real positive is that world now looks so much brighter and more detailed, while the negative is the eye drop regimen that you follow afterward. You'll be surprised at what your eyes have been missing. Bless you and your surgeon too!
I love your tag journal! What a great idea and the 2 smaller tags on the front ... amazing! Your creativity blows my mind! Thank you for sharing how you changed a tag journal someone else made into your idea of how it could be. I will pray for you, your procedure, your family and your medical team. Hugs from South Dakota 🤗
I am glad your pre op went okay and you finally have dates to work with. The tag journal is so adorable. As well as different and unique. Ty for teaching us how to make them. 💕
Hi Mrs. E I hope your are doing well. I love all your ccrraft ideas. You're tag journal is very pretty. All the best with your upcoming eye surgery. Take care.
I LOVE THIS!! I've seen the others that were made but yours is by far my favorite. It's just beautiful!! Also your binding is used in making mini albums, it's a way to attach pages, then it gets attached to the spine. I've saved the videos so I can give it a try!! Glad to hear your eye appointment went well, my hubby has had both lenses replaced. Take care!! TFS " L
Would you explain the sewing machine stitching please? What settings, needle size, thread suggestions, etc.? Your ideas are amazing. I can’t wait to start my journal. Thank you.
I'm going to make another one using this binding method...I need to use cardstock instead of chipboard...so I can fold the tags and make the top pockets on this one! Love all your embellishments and details. Perfect!
This is beautiful! I was worried about the stark white binding but inking it really helped. I think it would look nice to use a coordinating color/style washi tape to cover up the binding. Thanks for sharing.
I love this! I have been trying to figure out how to do thisnwithout stitching (my sewing machine died 😭) and what type of paper or fabric to use for the spine. I love how this turned out. Thank you! ❤ You will be amazed at how well you will be able to see after your eye surgery. I will keep you and your surgeon in my prayers.
I have been trying to look for the stuff/fabric/paper? you used to make the spine, I am in the UK and I do not know what to look for? what is it actually called? I had cataracts in my eyes, done a couple of years back best thing ever!
Congratulations on getting your cataract surgery scheduled. I’ve had both my eyes done and it’s fantastic. After I had the first one then I would close one eye and then close the other eye you don’t realize that you’ve been seeing colors wrong. I had a distance implant put in one eye and a close-up implant put in the other eye so I don’t need reading glasses. I only have to wear glasses when I drive to bring the close up eye out to farther distance and for my astigmatism. Other than that I don’t need any glasses so I can see across the room to the TV and I can see up close to my iPad, I can read with no glasses. It’s great. When my cousin got her cataracts fixed she asked her kids was this carpet always pink, and they said yes, so she said why did you let me buy pink carpet? She thought it was rust colored because of the cataracts.
E, I love your tag journal! Can’t wait to try one. I agree with Geri about your creativity! Oh, what is the name of your store? I’d like to order some bobbins from your daughter for some 4” fabric I’m going to sell. Good luck too with your eyes. My hubby said it wasn’t a big deal for him.
We have those up in the shop now, they hold 4" lace/fabric between the "ears" here is the link: www.scrapbookingwithme.com/store/p12557/NEW%21_10_pc._XXLarge_Lace_Bobbins_~_with_Slot_~_Holds_4%22_wide_lace_~__B___E_Designs.html#/
Could you put in a link for the fabric you used for this spine. i think you called it stone or rock fabric. i've never heard of either of those but I really like doing a spine like this so I'd be interested in looking for some similar fabric. Thanx, Edith. Happy seeing to you.
Love this tag journal. Trying to find a link to the Stone paper to see if it's available here in the UK. I couldn't see it listed in your Amazon store. What is it's full name and who is it made by please? Many thanks xx
I like this project and would like to try. I thought I heard you say you used 'stone' paper for the binding to attach pages together. I looked in your Amazon store and didn't see it by that name. Could you tell me if I misunderstood the fabric like binding paper's name, or where I can obtain it. Thank you very much.
Is there anyway that those of us who don't have a printer, to print off the digitals, could you print them off and sell them? Would love to buy them like that!!!
If you see printable in someone’s shop that you like you can contact them and ask them if they will do that. These are not mine to sell. If you go on Etsy there are some who will print them for you and ship.
Hello Ms E! Could you please find out how much it would cost shipping the Art Glitter Glue largest size to Italy? Doesn’t need to be super fancy fees. Grazie mille.
If you go to the store and put it in your cart, file out your address info, it give you the option of finishing your order or not, it will give you the complete shipping cost there.
did as you suggested. found out than the cost of shipping it is higher than the cost of the 16oz bottle of Art Glitter Glue I wanted to buy,,,.. prohibitive..
Very nice things your daughter and family are making!!
Yes E...it is cute as can be!

Very nice and oh how I would love to make one but not sure I have the confidence to put them in that spine.
You can do it, remember it is just paper. And you are more talented than you think. Just one step at a time.

Great album. I love using Edith Holden paper. How many pieces of the stone paper come in a package?
It is just 1 sheet.
I can't get my folds straight, any suggestions?
