Like he basically repeats all the stuff you find on here against him - how he's full of himself, he's not talented, he doesn't have any material outside the machine story - but then he goes and hangs out at Bert's house and eats his cooking

If I was a comedian no matter if my material was good or not I would be sure to have the best sign off. It's so jarring when dudes just end a joke with "alright that's my time". I would pull a Rick Sanchez and just say "I'm gonna go take a shit" and walk away.
I do local comedy. I’m no Shane, but I do well. I get a LOT of first timers who see me and come up to me afterwards and ask for advice. I actually like trying to help them - at least with stage mechanics - speak into the mic directly, talk a little slower, watch for the light, etc. a lot of first timers hold the mic at their waist and mumble into the mic. However…there are some insanely unfunny people who I’ve seen do the same 5 minutes of unfunny bullshit 20 times. Those people need to quit.
