Voice chat mic always cuts out when people hear me talk on discord when it’s connected to my ps5. And I also hear people’s voices cut out too while on discord and their discord is connected to their console
Personally I got another problem sometimes Ds eat my words when I speak with my friends and I hate that so much... I have this problem only on Ds in ps5 if I talk in a party or games I don't have any problems.
Most players from ps5 will know how to setup their mics, change from in game to party chat. Know what the mute button does etc. The issue is discord just doesnt seem to recognise the mic input. You can join a party and talk fine, in game chat fine but join discord and theres absolutely nothing coming through to the discord chat. This is even if you try not to use a headset and use the inbuilt mic in the controller. Edit: i fixed my issue by going into the discord chat on my phone and pressing the option within to direct voice chat through to psn. It made me sign in again and then the chat worked for me on ps5 fine.
Can you give a more detailed explanation please, I'm having a problem where I try to talk but other people won't hear me or my mic just won't be picked up at all but then at other times it's fine, idk if it changes but I'm on PS5 and other person is on Xbox series s
@michaelelder4095 i cant remember exactly the steps but i joined the discord call on psn Then i went to the discord app on my phone and went into the same chat. Then there was an option somewhere to diverty voice chat to the ps5 (i think it just popped up because i was in the chat with 2 devices at that point) This gave me a prompt to sign into psn on discord on the phone. As soon as i did that voice chat was working correctly on playstation
Please help me out how i can increaee volume on peoples voices on clips i make cuz they sound very low, i tried my best to fix it. Btw this is discord voice chat btw

I have to open the discord app on laptop or phone and unmute my mic everyday when i join discord from the ps5. Its annoying and cant figure out why
