This is just the sort of thing I've been fiddling with lately. I've gotten some very round rings by doing the last ds as 2 first halves, pulling that last half stitch much tighter than usual, and posting the shuttle. :D
@@TheOnlineTattingClass Sounds fun! I think it looks good, as long as you're looking for a really round look. I got the idea from youtuber Sparrow Spite, who suggested in a video to put an extra first half at the end of a ring. I was just tooling around with variations on that idea, and didn't want that extra half stitch.
As a youngster who already crochets & knits, I’m determined to carry on this beautiful art
Please do!! Thank you and Happy Tatting
Thank you. Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving.
Thank you Laura!!

Hmmm that is interesting. Would you mind if I sampled that in class when we return after turkey dinner. 🙂

@@JessG247 You do know that Sparrow Spite is Ruth Perry's niece. She learned from some of the best tatters!!!!
@@TheOnlineTattingClass Oh no wonder! I had no idea :D
Thanks Tamie for the v informative class .
I guess the LH picot join can be useful for joining ring to the paperclip?
Happy Thanksgiving 🌹
That will look really nice. Thank you so much for your kind words. Much love. Happy Tatting!!
