Micah and Jewell ~ Wedding Film

Here's a wedding film I shot and edited recently. It's my first wedding film ever, so I'd appreciate feedback in the comments! Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions about the gear used or about the edit itself.

Well, first off. THAT WAS INCREDIBLE! For your first wedding shoot that was pretty flawless. The one thing I did notice was that in the very beginning and the very end some of the shots were a bit noisy. But other than that tiny thing, you did an absolutely amazing job! 👍

Yep my Sony A7C only shoots in 8 bit image depth so shots get really noisy when shooting in LOG 😅 but I did my best to hide it and cheated a bit for the dancing parts by adding additional film effects/grain

@Timon Emch Yeah, that can be difficult. I use the Canon M50 with the widest aperture being F3.4. So I know how difficult it can be. Also, I thought the A7C could shoot 10 bit.

Oh man, you should get yourself a faster lens!! 50mm f1.8 lenses are super cheap for canon, and if you find an adapter from EF-M to EF you're good to go

I wish the A7C shot 10-bit but nope, just 8-bit... definitely one of the camera's big downsides

Timon, for your first wedding film you did spot on. Keep it up. Did you use a gimbal or steadycam for your panoramic and zoom shots?

Did you use any filters? Does your camera have a log profile

I used an ND filter on my lens for the outdoor shots! And I believe I shot in SLOG2
