All Syrian governments came via the CIA to power. All of them had to turn against the US policy as this policy was directed against the people of the area. So to survive every government has to turn against the puppetmaster. Israel's hunger for Land and the core beliefs of the inhabitants of that area will force the new government to change sides later

They appointed christian as governor of aleppo, the electricity became better, hundreds of political prisoners reunited with their family and they are distributing food necessities and the minorities dont feel threatened so far. they even say they want the people to decide on the laws and government. only time will tell if things will keep goinf this way. i am not muslim by the way. i am druze, and the druze of my hometown have reclaimed their hometown from the opressive syrian regime.

The fall of Soria bears some extraordinary similarities to the events of 1978 and 1979 in Iran, though perhaps without the scale of destruction inflicted by the genocidal Israelis. Like the Shah of Iran, Assad faced widespread character assassination-most of which was fictitious and lacked any basis in reality. Similarly, Assad, much like the Shah, never sought to inherit power from his father. In both cases, the United States eventually hands are responsible under the table, and their respective bases of power melted away like snowflakes.

This has a completely new flavour to previous Syrian conflicts. I cannot guess as to how Erdogan persuaded these disparate factions to unite (AND to show mercy and spread a message of tolerance!) but he’s trained and equipped a roughly 40,000 strong army, with a singular goal: Bring down Assad’s regime and eject his Russian and Iranian allies.
Is the pending new presidency in the USA a factor in this sudden sense of urgency? That would be on Erdogan, with whom, no doubt, Washington will be in touch. Is it simply the fact that Russia and Iran have been weakened on their own proxy war fronts? Are their respective hardened shells of imperialist might as thin as Assad’s?
My hope, personally, is with regard to Europe. I hope this weakens Russia and adds to their problems in Ukraine and Georgia. Maybe even Chechnya’s rebels will see a window of opportunity? Russia is now selling over a billion Chinese Yuen every two days, just to prop up their spiralling Ruble. They simply cannot sustain their spending and commitments to empire globally.
It’s impossible to judge, since Russia’s implosion may be imminent. Or they could hold out for years. But crises like these bring the end of Putin’s dictatorship into focus, at the very least. After all, I’m old enough to remember the fall of Soviet Communism. And anyone who tells you they saw that coming is either misremembering or just making stuff up.

Iraq? Because of the Shiites, after the brutal Operation Desert Storm and the Shiite uprising of the 90's Iran will always have influence in Iraq.
The whole point of the 2003 war was to actually mitigate Iranian influence in a way. The extremely late 20th century/extremely early 21st century Baath
iraq couldn't afford to oppress the Shiites forever. The same thing that is happening to Assad would happen to Saddam had "2003" never happened.
Lebanon? Lebanon is basically Bosnia and the SRSPK without the Dayton Agreements and more militarized. (Hez)
Yemen? Too many Shiites in Yemen (Houthis). Then you have "South Yemen" and UAE influence dividing the areas that are mostly sunni. Yemen is far too tribal.
Syria is mostly Sunni's WORKING for Shiites that didn't really care about it. (Like Yugoslavia/Iraq 2 decades before their breakup).
Then certain people enhanced it with the tribal card.

The video footage of the hospital being bombed was the Russians not Syrian fighters, a lot of the civilian buildings also where turned into battlefields by the rebels who where the major targets, one of the hospitals that was bombed in Aleppo was occupied by rebels because fighting had taken place over it.
The SDF also has been involved in the conflict, they where handed over a bunch of land when the fighting started by the SAA and have been heavily involved in fighting the Turkish backed SNA, which is full of mercenaries hired by Turkey, and the other rebels. They had a peace agreement when the fighting started before the US pressured them to attack the SAA and break it, right before Damascus fell they reinstated the peace agreement to fight the rebels.

Rebel statements that they didn't want to launch an offensive while Lebanon was still fighting USrael and end up supporting USrael. So they waited for the ceasefire to launch it, the offensive is a joint operation of hts and Turkish backed SNA too. There are around 80,000 SNA members while around 20,000 hts members. So the main force of the offensive is SNA for sure, not hts like it is circulating in the west but it is true they are spearheading it. This is 100% Turkish operation, it is somehow often ignored there are almost 4 million Syrian refugees in Turkey. There are also over 5.5 million displaced Syrians in rebel territories, total over 9 million Syrians under Turkish control. (More after the offensive ofc) Despite Turkey's efforts Syrian regime did absolutely nothing so far to convince these people to return rather they remained as refugees and displaced people. There are over a million Syrians still living in tents around Idlib after 6 years since they were displaced! Enough is enough, you can say Turkish policy is changed now as obiviously the government has no intention taking these people back. So new Turkish policy creating a country for them, this is also the reason why there are 'preserving syrian integrity' statements coming from leaders of the region. These Turkish backed rebels and US backed rebels in 2012-2013 aren't same people. One of the biggest mistakes of US they allowed foreign militants to join FSA back then and thousands of Iraqis etc traveled into Syria and joined FSA, we all know what they declared later on. While these rebels are entirely Syrians, SNA is 100% Syrian, trained and armed by Turkey. While hts is not directly supported by Turkey rather allying themselves to Turkish backed SNA but they are also entirely Syrian. They declared they weren't a part of quada like 8 years ago and even arrested quada linked people since then. Their current statements they only want to liberate their country, how true that is we will see i guess but i don't think there is any danger another infighting. The biggest problem of the first war international players jumped in from all around the world and turned it into a proxy war. While today the biggest actor is Turkey which aims to stabilize Syria and send Syrians back into their country. With Russia weakened and US unwilling, there is no power left which can challenge this Turkish plan. So even if some smaller actors throwing big claims around i guarantee you they will do nothing. Same goes Syrian actors, there will be elections held in 2025 and a new government will be formed, any actor refusing to participate either SDF or hts will regret it to say at least. The Syrian war is finally over, with Daraa also rebelling and Homs surrounded, it is not if rather when question anymore..

One of the most alarming things about Syria is that most people can't give you a clear summary of who any member of the opposition is, what they stand for, who their allies are, or why they're fighting. The very mention of the word "Syria" throws people into a myopia that defies all historical or geopolitical context.
Indeed, the nucleus of any discussion in The West is simply "Assad Must Go!" without any consideration as to what the alternative is or what regime change would mean for the Syrian people at large. Erdogan, who is still clandestinely trading with Israel, has played an active part in trying to balkanize Syria for well over a decade, yet no one is questioning why militants with links to al-Qaeda are suddenly pouring into Syria from Turkiye immediately after netanyahu threatened Assad for aiding the Lebanese resistance?
Western propaganda has told you that solidarity with the Syrian people can only take the form of being adamantly against Assad. This line of thinking suffocates any space for critical thought and inquiry.
Even highlighting the well-documented US/Israel support for these rebel groups is immediately misconstrued as an endorsement of the current government. Not only does this poison the discourse, it conveniently services the imperialist agenda to balkanize Syria. Those who claim to be anti-imperialist are now voicing support for the US administered occupation of Syria.
    QUESTION EVERYTHING!
Why did the IDF only bomb territory held by Assad and never the opposition?
Why does the US have untouched military bases in rebel-held provinces?
Why is it that the same states who are actively funding/aiding and abetting the genocide in Gaza are also feverishly pro-regime change?
Why are so many fighters for the Syrian opposition foreigners?
Will there be a resurgence of isis and other extremist groups?

Assad was already pushing Iran and Russia away...Both had offered serious updating of the Syrian armed forces at their expense but he turned it down...
Against the Iranian government's reservations, he encouraged the implementation of the Astana accords and asked the Iranians to leave...The last Iranian army units left the day before the invasion..
He barely spoke to his allies in the last six months, only dealing with the Gulf states..
In that time he removed 9 generals, veterans of the civil war, because they were seen as too pro Iranian...
So Assad chose this path himself, probably to ingratiate himself with his new Arab "Allies"..
