  • Road trip from Alice Springs to Kings Canyon.
This trip was absolutely stunning and we took our time and spent most of the day travelling and seeing sights.
Firstly pulling into Standley Chasm for a look. This is a beautiful private property and for a small fee you can walk to the Chasm itself, and worth every cent that goes to the local First nations community that run it.
Next stop was Ellery Creek Big Hole, a wonderful swimming hole very easily accessible by all vehicles.
Ormiston Gorge was the next stop, and probably my favourite spot along this journey. We sat here for quite some time enjoying the serenity.
THEN........... we ended up on the Mereenie Loop, which was 125km of ungraded unsealed road. This road wasn't really suited to our car but we did it anyway.
Ending today's journey at the King's Canyon Resort for Sunset Drinks and Live Music on the deck.

LOL! When you were speaking softly into the camera at Ormiston Gorge, it reminded me of the feeling I had with our visit to the outback, a few years ago. It certainly is a very special and spiritual place. A place you can feel. Definitely, a place that speaks to you. A place no person forgets. Great filming (as usual) Rob! Looking forward to the next one! Stay safe, man👍

What an amazing place! Alice Springs and the Outback has been on my list of trips I want to make. It reminds me so much of Utah and Wyoming.

I wanted to visit all this when I was up that way a few years ago but ran out of time - thank you for making this video, it's beautiful, made wonderfully, and thoroughly enjoyed. NT is gorgeous, a gem of Australia. Thanks for sharing.

I cringe taking my car along any corrugated roads. Well done for persevering with it. I am sure it was a much more interesting journey than going along the Highway.

Magnificent mate! Thanks for showcasing an area that we haven’t been to either.
Really nice to see the missus also.
I was watching this and thinking, do we ride there, or do we take the Navara so that I can take all of my camera gear… looks like too many great photographic opportunities to miss. ✌️

What an amazing trip mate, we're so lucky to have all this to see! Need to arrange a catch up and have a chat about it, when are we doing this on the bikes?
