I have not heard this song since I saw it performed live at The Main Act...... That was a lifetime ago................. So nice to hear the music once again.
Taylor, the next time its raining really hard, Don't be sad, Smile. That's not Thunder shaking your house, that's your Dad pounding away on his Heavenly Drum Kit. RIP ANDY.
I'm only 13 but I'm really into 80s rock/metal and my parents talk about going to a bar in Detroit and seeing these guys all the time. It's great to hear stuff that they used to hear. Thanks for the video!!
I remember the band I was in warmed up for these guys several times in the early 80's at Alrosa Villa in Columbus OH. Fun band to watch. Great show drummer in Gunner Ross.
Saw your old man at Harpo's......... 1983? '84? They blew the roof off the dump. It was hot and sweaty in there and that man was a freaking freight train. Hope he is well.
Yea, I was about 13 when this band was out...I use to stay up on Saturday nights and watch WLLZ's "The Beat" to catch this song and video. LOL...I'm old! I'm glad you posted this, I absolutely love this song and would love to get my hands on it and add it to my Ipod....have a great day everybody... Taylor Ross...tell your day...thanks! Thanks for making this tune, it totally rocks!
Found their stuff on Frostwire.com. Search for Cheap Thrill Looks. They're mp4, and replicated from vinyl - you can hear a little static but pretty decent. (I put it thru my mastering software and warmed it up a bit. Sounds good.) There's a couple studio versions of their songs. My band played in front of these guys many times….my favorite from back then.
Saw them at Liberty's in Ypsilanti 1982, they were the opener for Black Oak Arkansas with Tommy Aldridge on drums. Gunner gave him a run for his money that night.
I was lucky enough to see them a handful of times in some downriver clubs, Detroit had a lot of great local bands in the 80's, we were able to see a lot of them at Hart plaza for free in the summer..
My dad was the drummer for this band. Gunner Ross
Your Dad was bad ass back in the day and I'm sure he still is. Saw them many times at the Ritz in roseville.
Taylor Ross a friend of mine met your dad and paid him a compliment. Your dad then treated him as rudely as can be.

I want to know how to get the music off the computer and on to my ipod. Where can I download it?
I've been looking for their cover of Balls to the Wall everywhere with no luck. Better than Accept by far.
It wasn't Balls to the Walls, it was She's Got Balls, by AC / DC.
Pop metal
That genre doesn't exist. This is hard rock
