I kinda have a theory on what a speaker is. So watchers are bad entities, listeners are like kinda good ig? So like a speaker is a good entity all around and like dont have connections with the listners or watchers.
Idk it's a draft on this theory I honestly came up with it on the spot and imma do research abt it lol.
But I think they are hated by watchers and are to be killed when seen. That's what I'm getting from grians facial expression when this AU is showed.
@@zoe_random3917So, my AU is when the watchers and listeners both found a possible candidate, it means that person is already very powerful. Yet, both watchers and listeners attempted to turn that person into one of their own, resulting in a speaker. Speakers usually choose which side they are more loyal too, since, Watchers and Listeners both speak into that persons head, trying to get them to decide. With Scotts case, he chose neither. Thats unusual, and, Grian, whilst being turned into a watcher, was told about this and how he needed to capture said person (Scott). Grian didnt know, once in the games, what he was told all that time ago, was Scott. So, once he sees Speaker, he starts to realise, though, not a hundred percent sure.
(Grian is not loyal to the watchers either.)

Ik you explained what a speaker is in one of the comments but when I saw it my first thought was that they were like listeners (listeners listen to what the players want right? I think that’s what they are if not ignore this whole comment) but instead of just listening to what players want they actually do things to help, maybe the reason that all 4 of the games either Scott or his teammate won.
:O that’s such a good theory! Haven’t thought up exactly what speakers do yet, however, they are very rare due to the fact of being both a watcher and listener, love your theory! :D
