I’m sorry, who said the wolves were hesitant about giving Naz the deal last year? I haven’t heard that reported. As a wolves fan I was ecstatic and knew the Naz contract was a fantastic value as soon as I heard the details. I think the league and media might’ve just been 6-10 months late to the Naz Reid movement. Y’all would’ve noticed if he played in the playoffs, Jaden too. It was talked about in MN as if Naz took a discount because the team and fans love him, the team is good and he loves it here. (Similar to Mike Conley taking a 50% pay cut this year)
