I love pre-loved clothes. I lost 5 stone and could not afford to kit myself out in new clothes, so I went online shopping and outfitted myself with classic clothes I adore at a fraction of new retail cost.
I love thrift store shopping…especially my local Goodwill store…I’ve found so many great pieces…Marc Jacobs,Ralph Lauren,coach and at least 4 Brahmin handbags,many cashmere sweaters lots of designer leather jackets,many with tags still on and gold & silver jewelry also.
Great feature. I regularly sort. Giving to charity makes it so much easier to let go of things you keep because you might wear, might lose weight, and might gain weight 😊 I live in a country with many low paid people. The clothes, shoes etc are sold at a flea market by a lady gor no personal gain other than caring . The people/workers who purchase get good items for work, etc, at affordable prices, and the animals in this country get much needed help. There is no help here for either category I mentioned. It's a win win and win again for people donating, too ❤
Today I am wearing a charity shop top (originally from M&S) which I purchased for £2, six years ago, and a pre-loved pair of Jeans I bought from eBay. I rarely buy new clothes from a High St store anymore. I mostly donate old clothes to charity shops.
Love the pre loved concept..it helps save money and it’s not like fast fashion where some people wear the cloths once because it’s the latest look..then it gets thrown out, given to charity and adds to landfill…you can make your own unique style by mixing and matching pieces..all you need to do is give them a good clean and the best bit is some of the pre loved are much better quality..people should be encouraged to wear what they like..be comfortable in their own skin….not wear what others think they should or look like.
